telluride/big sky digs
A group of friends and myself are looking to take a 3-5 day trip to either Telluride or Big Sky over spring break (March 12-16) - wondering if anyone knows about good/cheap places to stay that perhaps offer lift ticket packages?

T-ride? Dunno.
Big Sky? Search. And/or stay in Bozeman and lay up at one of the dirt bag hostels.

at big sky, either the lodge at big sky, the huntley, or the whitewater are cheapest. cant really speak to the lodge. the huntley is pretty basic but literally slopeside. as a bonus, you would have a chance of me being your server for the included breakfast, which is a HUGE bonus. the whitewater is down in the canyon, about 10 miles from the hill. there is a free shuttle that picks up there. the ww also has a pool with a pretty sick water slide.
yup.

T-ride isn't cheap, but there's the Victorian 3 blocks from the gondy in the old town.
I wouldn't begin to think of renting a place over in the Mountain Village.
If you can spring closer to $100/night/person, call up the Camel Garden and ask for their best rate. It's right at the gondy base in the old town.Merde De Glace

For Big Sky, rent a condo in the meadow through vrbo.com and take the free shuttle to the hill. You can usually find a decent condo for about the same rate as a hotel room on mountain. The restaurants and bars are arguably better in the meadow as well. Save a few bucks and check out Moonlight a day or two while you're there.
