Awesome weekend all around. Wife made her first turns in Sapphire and CBC on Saturday, followed up with a killer Whistler day yesterday. So much fun with shorter lift lines and some sun to boot. No action pics, but still tons of fresh in the trees around Harmony at 2pm yesterday:

I've skied a lot more powder as a weekend warrior than I thought I would. Every day now just feels like a bonus.

I've been away for the last 3 weeks or so, where we usually spend that time in Whistler.
The stoke from mid-month (when we are normally there) made me die a little inside I think.

Yesterday was the cherry on top of a month of outstanding skiing.
After 40 days it's time to ride my bike.

This poster on unofficial talks about new permanently closed signage at cbc today - was this blackcomb patrol's april fool or is there really a new closure?

Always do sober what you said you'd do drunk. That will teach you to keep your mouth shut.

That was some deep snow.
Some runs I couldn't wipe the snow off the goggles fast enough.
Way to hit the 4m base!

i think the problem is people just follow tracks... plus there is only little boudary signs on the way out there...
I think a big boundary rope(if its possible with all the snow) just before the last uphill bit would be ideal.
anyway yesterday was rad, today was rad, hope all you fuckers enjoy tomorrow, have a full day meeting so will miss the blue bird.
should be a good day to get sendy.IT Guy in Whistler looking for work.
Broken Laptop, too many viruses, Web design, Web based business applications, Access Database upgrades.
Can help out with anything computer related.

GE went at about 10:30. Probably one of the wildest lift rides of my life. Gusts had to have been well over 100k. Start and stop the whole way up and then shut it down about 20 mins after it opened. Not sure why they opened it at all, but I'm glad I got a lap out of it. It was pretty freaking deep up there!

I have to agree that the first time they opened GE this morning was a bit insane! Chair was all over the place. They let about 10 chairs after us get on then shut it down. That run down was deeeeep! They re-opened it by 12:30ish and it was phenomenal afternoon in Secret Bowl, Cougar Chutes and I had a stupid-deep run down Purple Haze!
On another note, I had a great day demo'ing the Atomic Automatics (will post full review in appropriate thread)!! Super fun sticks and at the top of the list as my next pair.

a co-worker got tumbled a few hundred feet in a slide on lower insanity late morning, lost a ski, black diamond megawatt, 178 length, blue....she said she probably got carried about 300 feet, ended up waist deep, self extracted....she would be grateful if someone happened upon it!

Wet one out there today, can't remember being that soaked all year. Coug chutes and pipeline were rad. Tomorrows gonna be sick! Diamond bowl awaits
