Was up sledding tricouni today low in the mellow trees and we heard some VERY large and long duration natural releases, probably from the alpine/lake zone. Be careful out there... stuff is ripping big all on it's own. The trees/conservative zones are more than adequately deep til this storm snow settles.

They should just leave the alpine alone tomorrow, let the naturals go and then hope everything else tightens up when the temps drop on sunday so we can have a sick bluebird pow day instead of spending the day traversing around piles of debris.

For some reason people forgot about night skiing at cypress yesterday. Definitely worth a look next time it snows at low elevations for anyone around Van.

Yeeeah! Khyber was deeep, sending to warm butter landings all day, so many great top to bottom laps.
Had one slab pull out above me between xmas trees and frog hollow, my buddy set it off, started yelling at me, saw it coming down and just ducked behind a tree stand. So I just got pelted as it blew by. When I looked up the crown looked like 20 inches. We've set off decent sluffs/slabs in that area before, this was bigger than usual.
I have some funny pillow footage I need to get off my phone.

Inbound
Ms. Telechuck and I will be rolling in Monday night and ski Tuesday through Friday. Would love to hook up with some maggots and do a few laps. Beer, lunch, coffee would be great too. I will be on Blogs with a bright Flylow kit, blue pants, green jacket, makes the 80s look dull. Hope to see some of you out there.

Oh yeah, I forgot to throw out some +vibes to the poor girl who took a tumble through Calvin/Hobbes and broke almost every bone in her leg; tib/fib/femur/pelvis. Despite the new snow, there are still some nasty sharks lurking not too far beneath the surface!
