My first tow up the road was just to get a shot of the Avi shrapnel. The 2nd tow up was to look for my lost cell phone - I found it. It may have looked like I was just poaching laps but that wasn't the case. Hope y'all had a good day out there. It was a beauty!
its too bad they didn't let the "sasquatch" attack happen. that would've been comedy at its finest.

Did a few laps on Flute,6-7 groups out there. Watched a group ski one of the north chutes....some sort of crust in it till it opens up.
    Ugly raincrust on varying aspects.
No avy activity from yesterday or today.

Nice day today - the coverage and snow off of the West Ridge was really good. Even Grand Finale was pretty fun, if a little bushy! And I see no reason to download, the coverage to the valley was plenty good enough. Anyone else think it's surprisingly quiet up there today?

disagree on skiing out creekside, hobbit...unless you don't mind bashing your skis, did it yesterday, doable, but risky.

Skiout to the village is good to go, if you stick by the snowblowers. Forecast is looking good for this week, hopefully the legs can keep up.

It's fuckin nooking up there right now. My last two runs were free refills down to red chair. Skied out to the creek no problem.

Witnessed my favorite early season crash too. Snowboarder pointing it down creekside ski out, hits water bar at mach looney, air to head, no helmut, tuke/goggle explosion upon impact, comes up with bloody teeth. Probably had a concussion, but I told him to go grab a beer and some wings at Dustys.

It will either turn to rain overnight or snow so much you cannot move at all tomorrow, so y'all shoulda been there this afternoon!

Fair enough - not tried the creek yet. Village is good to go. And depending on what happens with this storm, creekside could be too! Text me if you head up tomorrow, I'll be there.

coming down pretty hard right now, but it appears they're keeping on top of the snow at this juncture...although think it's only supposed to get heavier, no idea how far south it's snowing either...

Snow started about 10 min past squamish at 730 tonight, expect it will drop to the town soon. Plows were keeping up but going was 60-70km/h. Snowing pretty good in the village right now.

2ft overnight! Hopefully the FL is around olympic so you can at least straightline Seppo's and not have to run into a pile of slush like the one on my deck!
