No can do this coming weekend, but next weekend I'm thinking of heading to Fruita or Moab... assuming the snow still sucks, of course.

Vail skied well today (for this season). About 4-5 inches when I left at 3. Under 4 was skiing really well. Crudded up groomers were a blast. Haven't skied those in a LONG time. Did a little bump skiing too. Should be good tomorrow. Headed up to WY to do some sled skiing though.

yeah but I wouldn't be surprised if it were true. I'd say a good 4 or 5 is already up there.

Sorry to post in this thread, but thought it would get the most exposure.

Any Eagle County mags want to make $50 for a short/easy amount of work? PM me.

I'm serious. I need a delivery made in Edwards, and it's not contraband.

I'm not sure of the friend in Breck's riding level, but my buddy is the very definition of intermediate. I consider myself pretty capable, so it'd be sweet to hook up with some folks to have some fun.

Hopefully you guys get some snow by then, I've considered not bringing my board with me but the next few months are gonna be nuts at work and only riding weekends is going to kill me. I'll probably check back in as it gets closer, but just wanted to say hey.
So I booked my flights for the 23rd and 29th. Looking to hit up some places Sunday through Wednesday and fly out early evening Wednesday the 29th. Probably will end staying in Breckenridge or somewhere close by. If the snow truly sucks as much as here, I can move my flights, but here's hoping.

Been out of town the past few weeks Anyone have any recent beta on Vail Pass conditions since the last bits of snow. Looking at a couple quick Black Lakes laps this weekend. Worth it? Thanks

Seems like Black Lakes always gets a crust as soon as the sun shines on it. But I haven't been up there this year so I don't know how it is.

They opened a gate up into the E lift terrain and I skied 7 laps of it yesterday. They weren't running E lift so it was a long loop down to Beaver Run and a side step up and over to the gate. Just enough to keep the riffraff out. SO MUCH FUN to bang those steeps hard. I heard E lift will run today - this morning should still be ok, but I'm sure the weekend will bring full on gaper scraping to the ground.

Yeah, they opened that up on Sunday. I've also done several laps through there. I found some boot deep turns in the trees to skier's left of Inferno that hadn't been skied yet this year, but the lines were only skiable one time since the snow is so rotten. Good to hear that E chair will be spinning today, since it's a PITA doing those long laps. We need to do some skiing Shera.

I'd def like to ski w you. I'm doing a ton of training and bumps, but everyone has their limit. I'm at it again, out the door shortly, groomer demos and spitfire bumps.

Skiing on my lovely big Prophet 115s yesterday made me happy, felt like myself. PSIA turns get old after a while and so does hard snow. Tuesday morning looks promising.

thanks for the pics, headwall was bare last week so it's something...a start. If we can just get into a somewhat stormy pattern and hold onto what we get. Stupid sun.
