    drink more beer
Sounds like me, except for the beer part. I got all my shit, read the books, practiced, did some mellow spring touring, ready for the next step. The AIARE Avi 1 course at Mt. Hood is in late January. There are a couple in mid-December in Central Oregon too.

Personally, my weekend days at Meadows will be limited. I only really need to go when it gets real good, and it's a weekday. I also do nights at Meadows if the snow level is suspect, otherwise the bowl is where it's at when conditions are good down low.
At least for me, its really tough to get into PR from the Heather/Stadium lift exit. PR is where its at when it nukes, so not to concerned about getting beat into fresh lines there.

This new chair is a god send. My favorite chair to lap is MHX and now there is another chair for people to GTFO. Nice.

If you haven't seen this yet, Saturday, 8PM at the Bagdad we are having a double showing - Level 1's After Dark & TSP's Set Your Sights.

Giving out two pairs of skis (Caylors from us & Rossi Scratch from Level 1), bunch of other swag, should be boozing it up there and afterwards. Should be a good time if you can make it out.

First 50 people in the door get a day pass to Bachelor as well, if you plan on getting there early.

ON3P can put on a show! Great work by everyone involved, the most fun premiere I've been to.

A few of us got up before the show to get some turns in, snow was great!

I'm still hurting a little. Now I have to sell these little park skis I won to make up for all the booze I bought.

You guys sound like you tore it up at the show, and after. Nice work. Those long range maps are looking nice. Grain of salt is needed of course, but it sure as hell is better than seeing above on temp, and below on precipitation.

Anyone got the inside track this year on a beacon practice area? BCA lists Mazama's on their sit as having one last year, but i'm not sure if it ever materialized.

My goal is to take an avy class this year, and get some beacon practice in.

If no real park gets set up maybe some Mag's would like to get together, and get some practice in. Just a thought.

I'd be in if you ever get down to the Bend area. Sure some other mags would join us. I'm enrolled in a 2 night avy class this year at Sister Backcountry. I'll get some practice there, but I'll definitely need some more.

Need an avy class as well. I'm game for beacon practice, maybe along with a pre-season "tour".

Going over to the flats white river across the parking lot at tline is a good place to practice beacon skills.

Anyone going to the TGR premiere tomorrow night? Hopefully it's just as rowdy as the TSP/Level 1!

Yep, but the early show -- now thinking I'm likely to miss the bulk of the misbehavior. (i.e., fun)
