your thoughts on BC conditions on Hood, please
previous weekends, it's been sunny with a high around 40 with freezing overnight. snow was fun through about 11am at meadows
this weekend, it's supposed to be partly sunny with high of 56 on saturday at 5000'. overnight temps are expected to be mid to hi 30's (not freezing).
i'm wondering if newton cyn would be at all recommended as a morning tour on saturday - what do you all think?go ahead and huck the cornice anywhere!

Agreed, but is there an early morning window - or are you saying high danger conditions = not a good day at all?
How is Saturday different from a typical spring conditions day?
We've had a rainy last couple of days. Is that a consolidating effect? Or a destabilizing effect?
I'm curious about 10 to 11am corn...go ahead and huck the cornice anywhere!

flying back today there were several slides around the mountain. And powder skis in 6'' of corn is some of my favorite skiing, just gotta choose a good wax.

You should all consider it your solemn duty to slay the fuck out of some corn for me as I'm laid up on the couch for a long while.

Stayed at TJ cabin last weekend - conditions were great on Cooper Spur but it got slushy quickly on the way down.
Unbelievably warm/clear weekend though:

I'd love to be at Skibowl with you hooligans but my wife is sending me to Vegas for my 30th birthday. Gulp. If this ends up being my last post on TGR, take solace in knowing that I wanted it to end exactly this way. The hookers. The blow. The bolt through the cock. The mysterious troll in the desert. It's my dream and I'm gonna go live it.
On the other hand, if I survive, count me in for the spring corn trips!

ive got maybe a few minutes of mediocre footy, couple for a crash reel, some other montage stuff i was gonna cut together, nothing amazing, but would love to take part if it would be beneficial
super jealous, my 30th is coming up this summer, but we are saving vegas for the elope when she finishes the phd and cashes in on payday, i think shes just as stoked for strippers and blow as i am!
bowl posted closing day about a month ago, but it wasnt very clear...
