The National Weather Service began emailing and distributing detailed descriptions and advisories of upcoming Big Storms last season and the 1st one of the season is up. Check it out at http://www.facebook.com/US.NationalW...e.SaltLake.gov
You can't call yourself a weather geek if you don't follow these briefings.

i think they call that the 'joey alert'
if you live in alta, its a good time to lock down anything some joey might try to slide, grind, jib or jump off.
personally i'll be waiting for a few more storms, skiing early season is overrated
NICE EDIT Alx88, putting up the first stoke in the wasatch conditions 11-12 thread! i'm sure we'll be seeing plenty more stoke from Alx all season long. that's all he does is bring the STOKE!

Sweet! I'm down there this weekend, just might need to bring some skis with me... Maybe it would put a stop to the annoying dreams where I show up somewhere to ski awesome powder but forget my boots or other dumb shit. Those are driving me batty.
