My original guess was a range of 10-20 with a few pockets of 24. I follwed NWS model guidance with that (mostly). I've got a sneaky feeling some high west facing slope might hit 30-36 range if the orographics and lake keep kicking in. NWS has hinted at this, and if you look at the time/height secitions and soundings you see support for a period of strong orographic snow from now until sorta tomorrow am.

Well, I'll be "skiing" with my kid Monday-Tuesday's, then kid free Wednesday-Thursday.
I'm sure someone will call child protective services on me at some point.
Sorry for the thread drift. Back to science, data, pits, fancy glass loupes, and observations from Main Chute that I'm sure we'll see tonight.

Might as well add a little stoke from last year.
We dropped in first from the top. But someone had tried booting up it to no avail.
I imagine there'll be a huge crowd up there early tomorrow morning...and yeah it was good.

Back in Vermont for a few weeks, fly into SLC before I head up to JH, all my stuff is in a storage locker in Sandy for the Summer/Fall, looks like if this month keeps up I could get a day of bc skiing in Alta before I drive up to WY from SLC.
Always charging it in honor of Flyin' Ryan Hawks.

Thanks to all the old snow in pipeline bowl the 15 inches of new skied great today. Plenty O' faceshots. I didn't get up there till 5 pm and I'm surprised nobody else went there today. There is enough to ski the road all the way to the parking lot without destroying your bases
