Anyone think the trees on Baden-Powell will still be decent this weekend? Is there even enough coverage for some turns near the ridge?

Back in the day during these week snow years. Baldy would use there crappy limited snow making to blow a couple of runs open from the top. then they would use there equally as crappy groomers to to create a sea of golf balls and grapefruits from top to bottom. But at least they were open and making money. Now thet have pretty decent snow making and water. Good grooming ability, But don't bother because they already have our pass money. Suckers are we...............

    Do it baby.

Snow level starting at 8,000 feet, hope it doesn't put down too thick a layer of graupel when it changes over. 34"-49" forecast at 8400 feet...maybe they'll actually get two feet this time, figuring in the NOAA exaggeration factor.

Any bets on Baldy having their stuff together well enough to open Sunday? If they don't open Sunday, Monday could be amazing. Hope they throw some bombs if the forecast actually materializes.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

BTW, NOT my stoke, but Andy Lewicky of Sierra Descents. I opted to ski 2 days at Mammoth Ski Resort and the Sherwins. It was epic.

Hey, whyturn, here's what you missed today......
It was a little heavy where we came in under top of the world, but monument/paranoids got some of the lightest shit blown in I might have ever skied at mammoth. Snapped a couple shots of mitch and big tim while we were hittin it.

Anybody interested in skiing Baden-Powell or the backcountry at Baldy this weekend? I might have to do my obligatory day in the SoCal backcountry.

I might be interested in B-P or something in that area on Sunday. How is the coverage?

I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...

Looks like another ~60 degree day at the notch

I'm planning Baldy ski area Sun. 3/25, pm or post if interested. I have some Baldy tickets vouchers that I would sell for $20. Bring your rock skis

Reserved a spot for Sunday also.Storm is forcasted for 4 to 8 inches of snow at resort level Sunday. Baden Powel also sounds fun.Should be a clusterfuck wherever anyone goes though.
