He meant the margin in the house which was only a handful of votes. Regardless, this is the worst piece of legislation ever written and the most egregious assault on the constitution to date. Anyone who doesn't understand that this means for the quality and quantity of health care in the their life is mistaken. Libtards think it's "fair" and unfortunately the ones not already part of the politburo will find out what fair really meanss for them.
In a way it makes me happy deep down in the cynical cockles of my heart.
All the green crusading trustfunders and "academics" jetsetting around the world and telling us how to live will get a taste of the sugar coated turd that is socialism."The skis just popped me up out of the snow and I went screaming down the hill on a high better than any heroin junkie." She Ra

The republicunts need to look on the bright side. At least they can keep lying about their military service.
Shockingly, the most conservative members of the Court argued that the 1st Amendment doesn't apply to things that they don't like.

In a round about way you're getting at what I've been saying all along. The Affordable HC Act/Obamacare is the last attempt to salvage the insurance industries hold on healthcare in the U.S. It was an attempted comprimise with the GOP instead of single-payer or medicare for all...the comprimise didn't work, but this is what we've ended up with. In the long run I think single-payer is what will result from this...in fact, even if this was overturned by the SCOTUS I think ultimately single-payer would have been the only logical eventuality. Now, hopefully you and I are wrong about costs going up...
Damn shame, throwing away a perfectly good white boy like that

Don't be so fucking silly.
A tax (or) penalty levied on those who don't become customers of a for profit corporation is about as far from socialism as it's possible to get.socialism
By letting this not really very good healthcare reform bill stagger onwards You've probably avoided or at least pushed away, for a few more years anyway, a fully "socialized" system.

Back to HOPE again. No one with a brain thinks the government can create an entitelment that controls costs as advertised.
As has been posted many times, Medicare is what? 100 times more expensive than promised? Social Security???? Medicade? Food Stamps?????
But COST is really only a small part of the problem. This is about individual freedom. If the federal government can do this, they can do anything. And they will. We haven't been free for a long time but this tips the scale.
Until now, the government was there to serve the people. Now we are servants.
We will all be told exactly how we must live our lives in order to keep the government system solvent. We will have to turn over ever increasing percentages of our labor to fund the debacle that will inevitably grow.
We are servants of the government after the first Tuesday of November 2012 if Obama wins.I've been to two state fairs and a goat fuck and never seen anything like this!!

Explain yourself what is happening ? All the things you complained about 3 pages back have nothing to do with Barry Care or whatever the fuck we are calling it now.
This is a minor change in the way we pay for healthcare, the nation let alone the whole world will be slightly different. Remember 9/11 and they everything will change people, some shit changed but mostly things are pretty much the same.
We exist on a rock floating through space at 67k miles per hour that 5 million years ago was hit by a planet about the size of mars. Pieces of our planet were ejected into a disc that eventually became the moon. The moon along with a fusing ball of gas 93 million miles away through the insanity that is electromagnetism and gravity allowed life to form on a rather normal back water system of what is believed to be an infinite galaxy. Fast forward awhile and you get us, rather shitty monkeys with a very interesting deformity. Now this species who has fought endless wars, harnessed the power of fossil fuels, conquered many diseases and catastrophic injuries and most importantly devised a way to send pornography through the air to a 4 screen in our pockets. However we will surely be crushed by a very small tax for 16% of the nation. All that we have built, all the humanity strives to be will be destroyed in the great communist fire that is Barry Care.
What a bunch of grade a first class cunts...
On a personal level I get the whole no unique snowflake thing you got going on, I don't have the energy to do the hardcore ghetto gangster act but you should know that we are actually all super unique. There are more stars in this universe than grains of sand on the beach, the statical probability for anyone on this planet to currently exist is zero and yet here we are alone floating on a rock. That's pretty fucking unique, add in the consequences of the double slit experiment and what we know about the formation of galaxies and just existing is hitting the most improbable of galactic lotteries. In simple shear numbers game humans and life are the most rare things in existence. You're gonna stand there, owning a fireworks stand, and tell me you don't have no whistling bungholes, no spleen spliters, whisker biscuits, honkey lighters, hoosker doos, hoosker donts, cherry bombs, nipsy daisers, with or without the scooter stick, or one single whistling kitty chaser?

Anyone who thinks this is a tax increase is a moron.
BTW, the funniest protest group at the SCOTUS was these girls:

It's.
Not.
A.
Tax.
He never said it was.
He said the federal Government can collect the $95/annum penalty (heavens to Betsy!) through the IRS (which was the plan all along) not because of the Commerce Clause in the Constitution but because Congress has the power to levy and collect taxes already. This fall under that jurisdiction, but it's not a tax - it's a penalty.
Man you people need to relearn how to read and think for yourselves. Stop listening to the talking hairdos on TV - trust me, I work with them.
