I want Superbro's with a gradual rocker / early rise

Just a little more rocker than the new Rossi GS skis.

Who's with me? For some reason I have become obsessed with this idea.

Guessing if I tried to do it myself, it would turn out less like a gradual early rise and more like a kink. And I would just ruin a sick ski.

I like them with camber, but who knows. Maybe you're on to something. I think that a ski with two layers of metal would hold a home-rocker, but my SBs are too precious to mess with.

    I believe you're describing the Faction 13.

No camber on the Thirteen. They feel much different than a SuperBRO.

You can simply just stand on the tips and flex the shit out of them. This will add a super gradual rise to the tip. Since the ski has metal in it, the rocker will stay. I have done this to my xxls and it's really nice. When I first tried doing it, I couldn't add any rocker. So I threw on a coat of wax to heat the ski up and then I was able to get a nice gradual rise. This method of self rocker doesn't destroy the ski like the other way. Let me know if you want to do it and have any more questions.

Bigger radius, no metal, and no camber compared to a superbro. Part of the reason I love the Superbro is that you can get rebound out of the ski much like a WC Racestock ski.

Although the rocker my slightly reduce the rebound, I don't think it would kill the rebound.

My elan M777's have developed early rise rocker, otherwise known as bent tips. Glad to know it's cool.

I have a single Wailer 105 with extra rocker too. Carbon fiber doesn't take a bend too well though. The tip is kinda flappy.

It's only cool if the bent tips are symmetrical.

This whole idea was more of a I wish someone would make this ski more than a "I'm going to mess with my Superbros". But if I win the pair at Ullrfest, the old ones may become a lab experiment.

I have some iggys that are pretty similar to the bros. A bit skinnier but they have a small amount of rocker. I really like them but I need more time to tell which I prefer. Either way they haul ass the added rocker makes it a bit smoother to punch through crud. Its a slight rocker that doesnt really help with float. When I get home I can get pictures of the camber. Among my friends who have skied them it seems 50/50 for which they prefer

I just don't know how much easier it could be to bust thru crud. I aim for monsterous death cookies just for fun on SuperBros, then I giggle like a schoolgirl when I blast thru em as if it they weren't even there.

I guess it's just a matter of comfort in deeper snow, not being able to see your tips at all. It bothered me for about 1 run until I realized that I didn't need to see my tips. If you get your weight forward and ski them hard (cuz if you aren't they're skiing you) they're just so reliable + solid that it doesn't matter. And they are just insanely fast, which I looove. I've never felt so stable at ludicrous speeds in any & all conditions on another ski in my life.

I'm told that the 192 Bros I got this summer are supposed to similarly destroy shit, while being easier to turn and having the rocker (and width) to float on deep snow, rather then have your tips under the snow for the deep days. I can't wait to get 'em on the snow.

So maybe you just need a pair of 192's neufox?
