Figured I'd cross post this here:

Some Steven's tree stoke from today (just two runs, no need to use more than that and make a 10 min video). Not the best edit - kinda washed out in the open places, and the camera angle is a little too far down. Tried to avoid boring you though, so hope it's not too terrible. Was definitely off my game a bit today (notice the two crashes), but it's the only day this year when I've worn a cam and got some decent tree action, so I figured I'd post it up. The second fall was definitely a pre-release. Not sure why - I was using FKS 18 w/din set at 13 and the forward pressure seems correct. Anyway, think I sprained my wrist (hope it's not broken) because of it. Hoping it heals overnight and I can ski tomorrow, but that's definitely not gonna happen. I'm wary of upping the din much more, so I'm not sure what to do to prevent it next time.

Here's a short video from Crystal on Friday. Standard POV disclaimer: if you don't like POV, don't watch it! Though I did manage to fit in one non-pov shot in here.

Have heard similar rumblings, even a rumor of the place staying open beyond,
though as oft has said, I'll believe it when I see it.

Some really nice suprise sunshine at Stevens today. Good snow in pockets too. From the look of it, there was lots of stupid going around this weekend. To include running into hiking tracks going straight up the middle of one of my favorite tree runs, I guess they were looking for a lost ski? Anyway, fun and fast groomers in the morning with some spring corn in the afternoon. They took a winch cat up aquarius face last night. That, combined with not to many people, resulted in me going the fastest I can remeber. Good fun! Looks like the snow should show back up tonight too!

okay, I'll play....where is "bananza face"? I've been skiing Stevens for a while and I have never heard of this. Really curious if I call it by a different name or if it's just somewhere I've never heard of before.

I'll shoot you a text tomorrow if I'm down for Wednesday. Wrist seems to be getting better, but some tingling/numbness in my thumb that has me a little worried. Gonna be beyond pissed if I have to have yet another surgery.
