Sweet chuting at Sunrise yesterday. Staying on skis all the way to the top of first Burroughs appears to be a very limited time offer. Skied chutes between first and second (and kinda on second) Burroughs. Smooooooooottttthhhhhh.

Anyone skied Daniel recently? I've seen the one TAY report, but not much else. Warm weather might make Adams the better bet anyway....

Yep, one day, 12 hours, 40 minutes car-to-car. No routefinding problems on that funky exit.

There's still continuous snow from just past the trailhead at Cascade pass. It'll melt out within the next week or two if this heat keeps up

Silver is a bit more of a hike now.
Up to windy, pass the PCT trail head (we reconnoitered that approach but gave up on it) to the first spur road to the left.
Park if you are driving something with low ground clearance, or, drive until you run into snow.
We made it up another mile before we got out and walked another mile of gravel road to the dead end up in the South West corner of the meadow. From there it's a short walk to snow and you can pretty much skin to the top from there by going up through the inside as apposed to bushwhacking your way though undergrowth to the lower bowls.
It's getting sun cupped a little but still in good shape.
