Hey Mags, just a bit of SPAM here. I'm trying to win a photo contest for the Friends of NW Avalanche Control Center, if you can click this photo and like it on FB I'll owe you a beer if we ever meet up around here. This was taken near Gold Creek last year on NYE.

Thanks.

Thanks alot, No its an HDR compromised of three different photos and mushed together. Here is the +0.EV shot for comparison.
Thanks for the Like, I could use a new Ski Jacket. I've entered alot of photo contests online and never won, Mostly because its basically down to who can whore out their links the most. And I'm so damn close on this one I figured I'd give it a shot. It's Still worth hauling 30lbs of camera gear into remote places for things like this.

Nice. I actually like the non-HDR version a little better, but you got my vote.

No women in my photos but there is some powder. Went for a walk from my condo up to Red Mtn Pass. Enjoy.
Should have brought my skis!
If anyone is up on baker tomorrow, I'll be in red jacket with a group of 3 or 4. Don't be shy.

Had Tuesday off so I decided to head up to Ptarmigan ridge with my touring buddy to check out the snow cover. Conditions up on the ridge were dust on crust, but it was a spectacular day to be outside. With the new snow last night, it should be a great weekend!
