Not a lot of details to give out, but this is an idea I've had for quite a while, and on the heels of the Valmont Bike Park success, it makes sense on so many levels. I've received verbal support from both parties (town of Erie and the owners of the landfill) already, but I'm sure there will be many hoops to jump through in the coming months. At some point I hope to open this up to a more general audience (ie., the great community on MTBR as one of the targets), for now though I think we need to make progress on a general direction before too many cooks are in the proverbial kitchen.

If any of you are familiar with the area, you'll know of the potential this place has for a killer MTB singletrack park. It's 1 mile long by 3/4 of a mile wide with tons of "natural" elevation gain, which could make for some fun riding away from the mountains.
