I'm in the Breck area mostly but will be heading up to the copper area more frequently this year. Not sure I'm good enough to be in the films but I can come help out with support crew.

This sounds super fun. Might be the icing on the cake for my season. The frosty blower gets all over your face kind of icing.
I'll be in Breck. Anybody that knows me already knows, but I ski sidecountry and backcountry a LOT. Prolly this year will range from A Basin (anything out to the rockpile) to Vail (East Vail is my fav) I like Beaver Creek too. I can ski any weekday.
Being in a ski movie for just five seconds would make my life complete.
I can also run the equipment for hucks or follow cam, but not really into organizing. Definitely an injun, not a chief.
So I'd love to be in the loop. And mad props to everyone that works on this.

Right on. I'm definitely in. I have a Contour. Mostly sidecountry with some backcountry days mostly around SuCo, but I'd be down for some Front Range stuff also (park/indian). Probably want to get out to CB this year and do some BC out that way, at some point, since plans to do that fell apart last year. I'll be in Breck 3-4 days a week, the rest of the time down in Boulder.
I'll also have to get together with jb and brainstorm some ideas. We were talking about doing some stuff in the Holy Cross (sled ftw) and Gores this year, that would be awesome to get some footy of. Did some recon out there this last weekend.

I know powtron and myself are gearing up for some fun stuff. I'm sure smokan will continue shooting all season. We did lose Donkey Punch to team Montucky - so Lindahl with have to pull double duty!
Looking forward to getting to know some of you guys and gals this season. Last season was quite ridiculous with the number of new folks I ended up skiing with and I am pretty bummed that we didn't coordinate to get better footage of some of the stuff that went down. The few times we did - it was always great to go back relive.

Yes, this will fit into a photo and video project that I was already putting together...I have a DSLR, and am getting an HD camcorder shortly. The 60D also records HD video, so set there as well.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...just keep in mind that the Skittle Mafia may blind you with too much Steeze.

After reading the 'official' thread, it seems like DSLRs/camcorders and the ilk will not be allowed on this project? POVs only?
I already ski with the gopro almost every day, the daunting task is the hours and hours of raw footage produced by doing that. Also, the gopro has terrible sound recording, so audio is pretty much useless.
I'm gearing up to actually edit the films this summer, I just got Sony Vegas and it's OK. Anyone have experience with that software?

I'm still pretty new to posting here, but I'm getting the hang of it. I'm definitely ready to start sliding down the snow with things attached to my feet.

ps...mtngirl79 is making an All-Maggette team in the PNW. Perhaps we should try something along those lines in the great state of Colorado...?

My location is generally Clear Creek, Summit, and Eagle but I'll ski with you if you get over this way, sure.

I've already been planning on getting a bunch of filming done this season and would love to throw down on this. I'll mostly be in Summit and Vail when I can with hopefully a few road trips to Jackson. Good to go for full backcountry as well. GoPro HD for pov filming and looking into a couple of DSLR's at the moment. Also have a few years photography exp that helps with lighting shots and whatnot, nothing pro but comes in handy sometimes. Ready to effin' light this season UP!!

I'm in Breck, got BC gear and a DSLR. Might consider upping my DSLR body to something that does HD video if the opportunity seems right. Unfortunately I'm mostly a weekend warrior, but usually get the big pow days off and have most fridays off too.
Breck mostly, want to ride A-basin more this year, checked out E. Vail for the first time last spring, want to do that more, lots of Bert pass and vail pass too.

I'm moving to CO springs at the end of october, after the last 4 years in bozeman. I also have pants that will make your eyes bleed, and BC gear.
would be interested in some BC days with some mags, since both my roommates are gapers

no idea. I don't have a job lined up yet, I'm just kind of up and moving, and then see what I can find, so days to be determined.
I think I'm planning on getting an epic local pass, unless there is a good reason someone should convince me otherwise. I guess I'll check out all the mountains and see which ones I like the most and are the most reasonable drive
