SWEDE!!!!!!LET'S RIDE AGAIN!!!
ricmond area of vermont has some of the nicest riding i ever done did in vermont. lots of off the map stuff i knowof that ties into places like hinesburg, carse and others. reminds me of north conway, hands down the best riding in new england in my opinion. gotta know where the goods are and how to put it together which is the best part. very little signage-refreshing.
blathering? most of it's good entertainment.
up early to check on the surf. buoy=good, wind=bad, and will be for a good week or more to come. ah well, there's always riding

I'd be down with a group ride at some point. I'd like to get some time in at the STAB trails.

What a refreshing read this AM, looking into condo/house rentals at STAB. Looks like some interest is building. I'll bring ,but hope we don't have to use, plastic sheeting. Hoping to see Bucket on a newer "plum funded" mtb?
48` at 5:00 AM today sunny and no humids, rain on the way, must ride today.
This nice moth I saw last evening relates to ECRC how?

06-01-2012, 08:04 AM #8812Now please go pedal your hipster ass off a long pier into the 3' "surf" that you rave about.. "Dude, the rollers were almost knee high! FUCKING SICK BRAH!!!! Now I'm going to pedal 9.45829 miles uphill both ways and find some chick to hit with chloroform to ensure that she won't run away.. Not sure if K-mart has a six pack that'd fit your head.. don't be upset if I tell you to shut the fuck up before the first lift tower or 'accidentally' slam the safety bar on your massive, un-helmeted, melon.

wow, incredible pic of an incredible-looking moth!
hey, will give you a ring this weekend - wanna discuss bikes and whether you know of any nice bikes for sale in your locale.
hoping to finally get back on the older bike this weekend...
^^ jgb : pulled the trigger on the sploder 2's...thanks for the heads up. in case you didn't see my post in gear swap, there will be 6 heady toppers coming your way. and of course you can try the skis out in a few months
^^ phillip : the only thing more tedious than self-absorbtion is a self absorbed with another. post some stoke of any sort and you'll not get flamed. and you may be happier for it. peace.Last edited by buckethead; 06-01-2012 at 08:24 AM.

mtb/bdr - dude be careful don't go cutting off those fingers! I tried to do something similiar years ago with a chainsaw.
Cleaned it , bandaged it, and covered it up with a condom and tape and went back to work. Worked like a charm. Be sure to use the non-lube kind or could get slippery.
Seriously worked well and keeps it clean. And protected.
vtfree and ecrc mtb crew - count me in on the STAB mini! Sounds like a blast. Party condo works for me!The Passion is in the Risk

Bucket - I've got a buddy who was talking about selling his 3 or 4 year old stumpjumper a month or so ago, ridden hard but in good shape and well maintained...I'll give him a call tonight and see if he's still interested in moving it and give you shout. Dan also has a bunch of mtb friends, I will ask him to check with them to see if anyone has or knows of a good deal.
VTF - Sweet Luna Moth pic. Did some research on them in college many, many years ago. They only live for about 1 week and don't have a mouth, their sole purpose on this earth is to mate.
MBB - Ride safe and bring lots of goggle tear offs!

blah!
i wouldn't be surprised if most of those cops were dressed as patrollers the last (and i mean LAST) time i skiied there while open. out of shape and obsessed with busting (mostly kids) who were skiing on trails that shouldn't have been closed.
like skiing at a penal colony.
though i'd already vowed never to return when they ran the groomer under the chair just after opening, destroying about 16" of untracked pow...and for what? a junior nastar course.
the mags that assembled spent the day ducking ropes, dodging patrol and lamenting the day that could have been.
as worthlessly sucky a catskills destination as wind-ham.

Belleayre is way better than Windham. I can go on and on about that. They get twice as much snow! And the deck is nice for spring drinking. And, I actually had good experiences with patrol there my two days at Belle last season. could have been because I was just about the only customer there.* Windham, what to say. It's owned by hedge fund guys so they're job creators? Ok, the adaptive sports program is good. That's all I got.
I actually hear there's way more stuff that's going to come out of Belleayre. I'm hoping for a body or a sex scandal.
Moeghoul, I'm rooting for you!
*Funny cause it's true.....I hope you know that this will go down on your permanent record
