Thanks, dood. His initials are B.W., looking forward to putting this past season behind me and get a fresh start for 12/13. Murphy's Law has applied a bit too much to me lately.

Thanks for the congrats all. I was almost reluctant to post anything up since the last few fell thru, maybe the 3rd time's the one, lulz. I'm good for a beer tomorrow nite. Otherwise, I'll be in NYC Mon-Thurs so end of next week works.

I've got a good vibe about this one, if the septic issue is resolved on Monday, it's good to go. Got a view of the mountains thru the trees, might have to thin a few out this fall to increase visibility.

    Tuckerman Ravine, May 7, 2006!!!

    Tuckerman Ravine, May 7, 2006!!!

Unlike the 1992 TR, this one is "repost" from back in 2006. Added some extra pics plus there is the day pic gallery (Lucky Luke and myself - we both had our camera this time).

Same day, 14 years from the previous one, 6 years prior to this week.

We started hiking up at 8am sharp, the hike to Hermit took us 1:45. It was a quiet hike for a Spring weekend, I guess we weren’t the only ones concerned about the snow not softening up. It was a quiet walk with the exception of my old time buddy (aka Lucky Luke on Zoneski) singing roughly translated Red Hot Chili Peppers songs in French (you don’t want to know).
Click on the image or link the read the TR. Not as much snow as 1992, but way more than 2012:

Compared with pics and TR from 1992, same day, May 7th:

Its Cmurda again, your favorite neighborhood troll. Scored a great 10 days out in Utah and thought id share the epicness that ensued since i know you guys like stoke.
    .

Disclaimer: a little long but i think the cuts came out nice. We nailed a good week and got snow every day basically resulting in ton of great shots that needed to get worked in.
Hope you guys enjoy and would care for any fair feedback.

Hope everyone made the best of their season considering and hope to get some turns in with you guys soon.

    -Cmurda

Edit: Watch the vid on YT in 720 HD -- This does it no justice...

great vid man!!!!! went well with my chix noodle soup. thanx for that.

well since i raided rite-aid today for happy pils and liquids, my day went a bit better. left worky a few hours early due to slow biz and BAM! surfed some of the best fucking waves in perfect conditions in many months. the lefts (backside for me) were walling up and there for the hitting. i swear i heard one wave say, "hit me, hit me again, and again"

unreal. that 5'9" quiver o one rocket quad is a magical tool. can't wait for a bit more juice and set it up thruster.

lots o grooming high george this week.

    great stoke y'all!

p.s. thanx so much summersux for helping me choose the right meds. best damn pharmasist in newmarket!

Out for an XC ride early with my brother tomorrow. Green Mountain trails on Sunday, then heading east to Tucks. Then maybe a paddle on Tuesday morning before work? Depends if I can find a new drain plug or not. Caving and drinking later in the week.

    School's out

Your brother know how you're treating his bike? Or is that your new rig? I might join you at GMT, what time?

Where are you located? If I can get away, I'll make the effort. I've got my 95 yr old mom - in - law in tow and my wife's knees are giving out so most of my time will be consumed tending to the disabled trying to get around to various venues and whatever else might interest them. I'm busy scoring points for next ski season although I have quite a few built up already from last year that rolled over unused.

New rig. Bought Radam's Trance 2 off of him.

Not sure what time we'll be at the trails yet. I'll let ya know.

edit to add - thinking about calling off on tux. Rain rain and more rain. Fuck that.

^^ What a shame that you're not having any fun.

Guess I'm gonna have to get in on some of that action with ya later this summer, but it'll have to be on a fly rod.

Well, there won't be any Saguenay snow beta from this mag. The Volvo wagon broke down again and this will likely be the last time. First drove it when I was 17 then bought it 12 years later from my brother and took it from 260k to 420+ kms (odometer broken) Lots of blizzards, ditches, sleeping in the back, good times and bad but almost always good.

On a bus back to MTL now. Probably going car free for a while.. That's the season folks! Pretty happy with it, especially my last run down an untracked chute (still thinking about it) See y'all in October!

Great Big Branch Sesh down Danby way...Gonna miss all the UVM kids, my mid-week krewe! Endless steep boulder gardens of fun. Around each bend you feel like you're paddling off the edge of the world. Big Branch...a magical place.

If we're posting old pictures of Tucks, here's one of my favorites. That's my dad in the foreground, hiking to the bowl in the 70s or 80s.

A different puddle, more big bass. Either I am the second coming of Roland Martin or the spring bass season in Vermont is going off. Bet on the latter
