Thanks NMBRD, I'm just glad someone saw it. With all the backbiting and the avalanche of stoke that is to come, I'd figured it would get lost in the shuffle.

Sounds fun Rog but I am in Maryland with wifey and kids visiting the in-laws. Be back on Wed. Will be looking for leftovers Thurs/Friday. Possibly do something next Sunday? Enjoy.

Talk about adding insult to injury - sprained MCL, business trip takes me to "There's a hole in the world like a great black pit" London, and V-tah gets nukeage.

    Just ain't fair.

Keep the reports coming, all. I'm ripping it vicariously through every one of them!

Out early with the Padawans and Michael, Unfortunately Eli crashed on the runout under the chair belows Steins and is currently in surgury getting his shoulder pinned.

His brother and I could not help him so we skied.

Today was too good. 46" reported in 36 hours. Blower, blue bird, and cold as hell. One of the deepest vt pow days I can remember. landscapes totally changed from 6 ft wind mounds everywhere making route finding tricky. But hiking paid off. Some stoke was taken. I am sure the pics will start soon.

    Knee-shin pads?

While playing in the winter woods do any of you sport knee-shin pads under your ski pants?

WhiteRoom skis did not disappoint either, thisbe were the conditions they were designed for...

    VT crews, bring the stoke...

Good, save for two flats and one spare tube; oh, and also having just gotten back from a family visit in DC for the duration of this entire storm cycle- I could have told you this storm would hit when I booked the plane ticket 6 weeks ago. C'est la vie.

Anyhow, I chatted briefly with a pair of rigid single-speeders in vintage Spyder padded sweaters today in the Fells and thought maybe you were one of 'em...

I'm gonna start a NE thread in Sprockets shortly and take MTB talk over there since winter has miraculously returned and stoke is rolling in on the regular. Sorry for the dirt interlude folks, pack to pow.

Plenty of tracks going in that direction though.

First run down Cannonball right next to the lift line was amazing, every other turn was a faceshot and I had a good time spraying the people on the lift. Snow that's light enough to be shot in the air this year, who da thunk?!

With the wind and traffic things got a icier by about 1 but still a good day. I set my expectations so low I didn't even bring the gopro, maybe that's the key to getting good snow? Pretty jealous I didn't get to N.VT, 4 ft in 2 days at smuggs? Is it true?

    Global warming glade:

    Great report/ right on target.
My opinion is they got a solid 4.

Mittersill still unfortunately not ready to be ridden.

Can't wait to see what comes out of the NEK.
Haven't heard anything about Sugarloaf. How'd they do?

Today was unreal for sure.... Little confused, I left Japan right? Will try and get a couple shots up later, but right now need a couple more beers to work down my pow buzz. Bluebird, blower, pow day, does that happen here? Drooling at the tracks on the North Ridge of Manny today. Looked so sweet in the sunlight. Looking forward to GP shots if he was out which i am sure he was. Hope he was up there for sunrise, which looked sweet from Jeffersonville.

If you were at Jay either day this weekend and didn't have a shit-eating grin on your face the entire time, then you should pick up a different sport.

    So. Much. Damn. Fun.
