Thanks for vouching for me. I seems I'm always just a lil late on finding a pair. They seem to go quick. Just throwing this out here if anyone knows of a pair of small dukes that are up for grabs keep me posted.

Thanks LD for the deal! I am sure those wailers will go in GS for that price.

its still early season, we had 5 great powder day opportunities this year already, I think its been pretty good so far. Building a base this early never happens, so have to get it when it comes.

man, this work thing has been a drag lately...too busy!

hit the mashed potatoes on cannon (which is steaper not cheaper than kitty ) sat in the AM and back for nice waves in the afternoon. she's all gone now! damn...it will come. my knee held up, but it's not too happy. looking into the stem cell/PRP deal...maybe the answer...who knows.

big thanks to Rog for the hook. my boys will be stylin the CRJ's and barrons as part of their quiver. i'm not sure how or why many of you need the dukes din rating, but the barrons go to 13. if you need more than that i'd be suprised on this side of the mississippi unless u b racing...then u should have straight alpine binder to begin with.

lynchy, doin the kitty thing...cool. i've toyed with that deal every year now. it used to be $99. it will be good for the kids...not to worry about 2 runs or 10 runs...whatever! cheap charlie wins!

Its been nice to get a few powder days in being so close to a ski hill, but I get super jealous when you talk about surfing. The only reason I hate living in Vermont is because of the distance to the ocean.. I really need to get back into the surfing game, especially when the hills are bare.

ya, surfing is the kinda thing where you REALLY need to drop everything and get on it before either the wind switches, the tide changes, or the swell drops. in winter, once there's snow that actually sticks around, it ain't too tough to go any day and find good snow. mountains and the snow that cloaks them is a constant, just sits there, where in surfing everything is so dynamic and moving, always changing with the conditions and the feeling with every move you make while the wave moves under and with you. it really is a whole other world.

nice to have both so relatively close. surfing is something you can do here year round, is always free, gear is simple, and the babes, oh the babes

Is the ratio of guys to gals the same in surfing as skiing? Nice shots.

I do enjoy across the street from Wildcat, but I meant there is some real steep places at Wildcat if you know where to look. Hint:It is not on the front nine and it is not Tuckerbrook, but you are getting warmer.

    .
Ratio is about the same, but the gals only wear 10% of the clothing as skiers so count 2 for 1.

VTF usually i get to read some sort of weathe report from the base of the bush...this morning nothing .. WTF.... at least i had to put a hoody on to got to school....warm weather is killing the deer hunting...nothing moving....SUCKS all around.............

Outer Polecat at the Cat is way overrated in my book. Steep? Yes. Like skiing down a Plinko chute? Yes. That whole area is overcut, but still too tight to really be able to enjoy the steep pitches, unless bashing bumps in a chute barely wider than your skis is your idea of fun of course. There's also been major problems with idiots cutting in there, and the FS has been taking notice the last few years. Don't get me wrong, I love Wildcat but my favorite skiing is actually inside the boundary lines...Mosquito Brook=EC nirvana on a pow day and there are so many other great spots too. I didn't make it over there last year to see how the new ownership has changed it, but this year I've got to put in at least half a day there.

Nice surfing pics all, HA I may need a poster size of that for the tuning cave.

Cold this morning, snowed last night, and mountains are back to a coat of white.

    this morning

was off the hook. perfect. surfed from 7-9am b4 worky. pulled up to blue sky over green water and perfect lines like corderoy coming in from the horizon. only a few familiar faces out. the rocket quad was made for this mornings perfectly clean chest high (with ground swell power) waves.

next 4 days should be carbon copy.
