Anyone missing winter? How about a rousing game of "name where that pic was taken" from this years ECRC.

I found this one of JGB on a random page, should be pretty easy to start off, winner needs to post or re-post a pic from the 11-12 stoke in the next week.

overall points "winner" gets a free ticket to hunter to ski with me next season, especially if it's buckethead.
.....I hope you know that this will go down on your permanent record

That's was my first reaction too. WTF? That is taking conservation to a whole different level?

Crazy moths you VT'ers grow over there. My house full of girls would freak out if that hairy one landed on our window. The shrills are hurting my ears.

Was nice to see the sun yesterday. Waiting for summer. Happy Friday.

I have been slowly getting started on my next project, so have been riding the MTB at lot[5 soon to be 6 this week] around and around.
The humids have stayed away for the most part and teh skeeters not so bad excect for swampy areas.

Some DT rocky notch ie old skool no flow tech

    To pinch point

    And down

Wind storm last week nkocked down this old sentinal maple. Kinda sad, I thought about the amount of time I have spent hanging out near this tree waiting, regrouping, deciding next trail ect. over the last 20+ years.

Sunday Surface Whore demoed a 66 29er from the local lbs that needed some work. The stem was not tight enough and the bars went left while the wheel went rifgt pitching him off. Then the new wheelset wobbled into the front derail. Just comfirms my working on my onw ride as I trust no one with my life.

    SF rolling the rocks

The moss is bright and slippery right now. SF did love the bike!

Super nice last night on the ridges.

    Trial butta

    Kinda peaceful here

Thinking about Stabbing this weekend, cold front coming in from Canada today setting up a 70` weekend.

No actually it's because that run has a flattish in-run the normally only sees one track in and he was in that track simply to gain speed for big turns... Which makes perfect sense why you wouldn't have recognized what he was doing.

Bah, sorry man- a broken clock might be right twice a day but this is just not one of those minutes for me. I'm friggin' burnt from this week... Trying to blast through my work and get up to the clean air, cool water, peace and quiet. Total crap day to be in Springfield as the reminders of the week's tragedy are just everywhere. 10,000 cops in the city for the funeral of officer Kevin Ambrose, streets shut down, somber marches and hundreds of cruisers in processions through the city... All I can hear are sirens and helis.

If you want to get choked up, follow a police procession 100 wailing cruisers deep and watch the people on the sides of the road stop what they're doing to salute or hold their hats over their hearts.

If you know a cop, buy them a beer today and say thanks.

There's been an unfortunate amount of police officer deaths in MA/NH lately. Police getting killed by idiots for stupid reasons, not the kinda thing you like to see repeatedly happening.

thats awful. seems like most of the worst shootings are at the hands of suicidal fukcs who could have spared many lives and much misery by just jumping off a bridge.

I was wondering what was going on this morning on my way out to Westboro for work. I followed a caravan of ~20 motorcycle cops all the way from Boston. That sucks. Seemed like a great morning for a ride, but not under those circumstances.

Truth. I grew up with the Greenland, NH police chief Michael Maloney who was killed last month. We know the family well and I am still blow away how tragic it was for his family and the community. Drugs and mental health are a bad combination.

Sad story ^^^. Best to family and friends. The few cops I know might take a shot at me if I try to hug them tho - might to buy the a shot and beer!

    Enjoy the weekend bitches!

I don't miss winter right now. If you live in BTV, and get to wander around church when the sun is out and the... ummmm...scenery is in full bloom...it's tough to miss winter.

Yep. There were 4-5 of us & we'd all take generally the same line and poach every square inch. A different person would ski first each lap and get fresh tracks. Several laps later it was totally tracked out. And yes, the runout from that sucks.

So true! Any sun drenched day sitting on Church St. is a bonus but Jazz Fest is such a great week and always seems to drastically improve the "scenery", the wife even directed my attention to one the other night.
