^^^ Nice clip, looks like a sick course. Got in a good ride on some local trails Saturday and realized that running several days a week and riding once every other week doesn't get it done for the lungs/legs to kick it up the big boy hills, need to spend more time on the bike and less on the pavement! Flies have been pleasantly absent up here so far and hopefully remain that way, but the mosquitos seem to be every present and more thirsty by the day.
DaveVT - Sweet shots. I've done a little hiking in the area and it is a beautiful spot for sure but I'm with akok...you guys are a few cards short of a full deck in my eyes too.
MBB - Sorry to hear about the stitches, I hope it heals quickly. I am possibly headed down your way mid June and might bring the bike along to see if the powerline trails out to Belle from Titusville are still rideable and not totally overgrown...a great ride if you've never tried them.

Sounds good, will let you know as the date gets closer. The plan at the moment is to head down on the 14th for a work meeting and hang around the old hood thru the weekend and do some biking, fishing, golfing and other assorted debauchery.

That was some great pizza. I'm thinking we just have him cater Ullrfest next fall... seeing it's only a only a block from his house.
It was good seeing VTF and getting out in the VT wilds. A great weekend for sure, starting out with a four pack of Headys a renter left in our fridge:

Perfect tubing weather and fun for friends with 6yo:

But Friday may have been the best day. Golf, beer, music and...:

^^^^^^^^looka like ocean gets active starting sunday with favorable winds and short period peaky fun...........then the fucking wind gets on it for days, building it up. hopefully the wind decides to pull air off the land at some point thereafter.
hey newfy, you buying a house? good time to buy. just put an email in to my mortgage girl to see about doing a refi on my rental properties. sheesh, between raised rents, lower mortgage, solid annuity that has been gobbling the extra cash, "lifty at fifty" could be "lifty at forty five"
ah the wonderful world of money making money. beats working. don't need a degree for it either. nice simple 1st grade math

Daddy can handle 3 at once
NWS confirmed a small tornado in West Glover, traveled 1/3 mile.
Not muggy or really buggy here. Riding last night was relaxing with a temp of 65` and no skeeters. It was a little muddy but the trails up here get ridden rain or shine when the lifts spin, so get after it. I did come accross an awful trail reroute, shitty no flow hunk of crap with wrap-a-round turns next to beech trees. Oh well thought they knew better.
58` sunny and dry today, looking like another winner.
Thinking the MTB mini either June 15-17 or 22-24. Couple of options for camping are Runin bare or State park Might also look into renting a condo or house at the mountain if there is interest. Any thought on this?www.apriliaforum.com

[QUOTE=Vt-Freeheel;3654570]Daddy can handle 3 at once
NWS confirmed a small tornado in West Glover, traveled 1/3 mile.
I saw that also, rare but not surprising based on the storms that rolled through just north of me on Tuesday. The wifey and I are heading up that way later this month for a little NEK getaway, nothing to do but relax and moose watch, can't wait...I hope the cottage we are staying in wasn't in the path!
Being that we are so close to the lake I am convinced that the cool water weakens t-storms, be it only for a very short period of time, as they come across from the adk's. This seems to happen on a regular basis in the spring/early summer and they very often will quickly reform a few miles east of the lake, sometimes stronger than they were before crossing...any of you meteorologic mags out there know if this is a proven phenomena?

Dear Rog,
Why in God's holy tittyfucking name must you be such an insufferable touchhole? It's fine that if you could pick any one person from history living or dead to hang with you'd pick yourself. It's perfectly ok that you sext yourself naked pics of you in the mirror throughout the day to keep yourself going. It is absolutely acceptable for you to lament daily about this new pussy, that pussy from back in 'eleventysix and the other pussy down the street to try to convince us all you're the fucking mack daddy to end all mack daddies- it's alright to hang out near ER's to try and fuck anything with a fresh hatchet or stab wound that hasn't been sticthed up yet and chase any and every skirt between the ages of 18-80 from here to Haines. It's fine that you had a dildo made as a perfect clone to your own member and replaced your bike seat with it... But you know what's not ok? You calling people douchebags for not wanting to sit through your all day every day self-sucking ego-baskfest. Dude, you have a lot of knowledge to offer and imo are probably a great time to hang and drink beers with but for fuck's sake will you do us all a huge favor and shut the fuck up every once in a while? Like once a week would be great. Just wake up and say to yourself, "This seems like a great day to shut the fuck up".
I do it all the time. Actually in regards to TGR I've been doing it for weeks. It's great. I was kinda hoping we could avoid one of these letters since it will most definitely be construed as summertime douchebaggers, but alas. It is time once again unfortunately.
Can't wait for every fucking crybaby jong asspipe dingleberery to chime in with their own shitty two cents on it now like someone cares."If you limit your choices only to what seems possible or reasonable, you disconnect yourself from what you truly want, and all that is left is a compromise." -Robert Fritz

Okay...wants the name of this place. Teton Gravity Research
Têtons = generally found in the Padded Room under NSFW - check
Gravity = plenty gravity stuff in the stoke provided.
Research = that's what I'm going now...
Searching and researching for some good old Eastern Pathetic turns on MTW:
I have a small window where I can get away (new passport to be picked up tonight). Can't next weekend.
Looking at the calendar...JUne is tomorrow.
Looking at the snowpack, June has been here for a while.
Looking at the forecast...
Looks like some June turns are going to be pathetic. Anyone up for some turns? Looking for some people as Mad as I am for some good old pathetic June looks like July turns soon.
Tomorrow might be too soon for me (the only clear forecast day). Saturday seems like a washout...Sunday, less so, but one advantage - won't need the sunscreen.
Need to be back in Ottawa for my daughter's broken leg followup at the Hospital on Monday afternoon. It's going to be 2 1/2 months since her injury.
Anyone as pathetic as me?Last edited by MadPatSki; 05-31-2012 at 09:24 AM.
