I'm checking in, even though the way things look right now I'll probably never get further than Whitetail or Liberty this winter. Here's hoping I can find a way to escape to Maine or VT this winter, at least for a weekend...

The arrival of this thread prompted my first ski dream of the season. Though in it I ended up at the top of Magic with no bindings on my new sticks...

I got new bindings, but no new skis to stick them on yet. Will be corrected and looking forward to some storm chasing to southern vermont.

Just checking in. Excited for the season to start. On a somewhat related note, my in-laws are resurrecting their New Years ski trip this year. They're thinking Killington or Stowe. Any suggestions for finding a house for 8 for a few days? HomeAway is turning into a dead end.

Oh man, now you got me thinking about Xmas/New Years week skiing at Sugarloaf. Seems like a good Friday to waste looking at Ski Porn.

Is anyone doing any mountain biking in Southern VT this weekend? I'm going to be at my folk's place in Jamaica for the weekend and am little bored of riding around Ball Mtn Damn.
I was thinking of checkin out the Grafton Ponds XC ski trails or trails near Ascutney.
Any takers? Weather looks great.

Used to routinely have dreams just like that--bindings break, I suddenly have no skis, the snow melts as I'm getting ready...They always struck as saying something really bad psychologically.
I can't keep up with this thread--someone has to start a thread that's an abstract of this one.[quote][//quote]
