Weasel, there are lots of EC based girl bands that rock. Are you only looking for cover tunes?
NYC's own Lez Zeppelin is pretty good.

    Plus they have great shirts.

Nice! That would be a kick ass combo.

gotta bump this up...nice score TC and ISBD!

i like the winter 2.0 designation.

maybe we'll get a little symmetry to close things out, since this season began with a bang in late october - and then everything melted before things resumed (and melted) again.
by my calculations, i see good lift-served skiing still surprisingly available through april 29, give or take a few days

houseplants back inside, windows closed again, heat on...

an inch at the house wasnt all that inspiring, but I've Seen Black Diamonds and myself decided to get the dogs out and see what was up there.

Only time I have been happy in the last week that smuggs was closing early, had to avoid the winds but the skiing was really fun and was nice to the let pink bases out one last time

Good work TC. I was wondering how that snow did up there. Maybe these next couple of days will help put the pieces back together for a little while. HA is coming back

^^ not to nit-pick but that's new ian anderson. tull, i believe is on indefinite hiatus as martin barre is pursuing a solo career (playing tull tunes!)

True dat, but Jethro tull is Ian Anderson imho, Oct 5 at the Beacon.

My snow tires are off the car, I packed away all my ski gear last night and I sent away my jacket to get repaired. So now it can snow.

Either scenario or something similiar would certainly be good. Hoping in the next few days something good happens up high. Would be in the right direction if it did. Possible.? Fingers crossed.

As of yesterday, my snows are off, too. If it snows eight feet, I'll skin north.

Good meeting Angry Swede up at the AVY I course this past weekend. The course was run really well. Only bummer was that they cancelled the third day, which was the field day. 35 degrees and raining, with not much to look at in terms of snowpack. They're going to let everyone sit in on the 3rd day next year, which is probably better in the end.

Off to Utah tonight to ski slush. Looks like a storm is forecasted for the night I leave. Should be fun though.

my snows are on but have certainly lost some tread with all the dry-road travel this season has provided.

i can't recall a single trip up the gap (rt17) that required snow tires though had a slippy ride up to smuggs the day of THE storm. 7 was a bit slick on march 1, but issue was more with driver ahead of me. that was my snow-driving season in a nutshell.

i have been washing the car more than usual though...so let it snow, snow and (more) snow.

it was 28F when i got in the car a half hour ago.

must admit to feeling a bit giddy imagining all that bulletproof ice on the hills so far this week (it's like time standing still til i can get back at it)!

Nice! Ride soon at HP? I've been on the road bike a lot, helping my meniscus tear heal (luckily not any ligaments), but I think I can get back on the MTB pretty soon. This early spring/summer thing actually worked out pretty well for me, as I can't ski for a while anyway.

    Nice turns though, TC!

I too had a chilly but phenomenal ride today. Trail conditions are fuggin AWESOME! Traction is superb and what little wet stuff there is was all crystallized and standing straight up in the air like it was reaching for the sun saying "melt me melt me." Honestly, if it doesn't snow again until December I'll be ok with it My time on todays ride was an hour faster than at the same time last year and almost 30 minutes faster than in January. My fat, old, damaged self ain't doin' so bad

NICE TC! Looks like it was well worth the hike. Think we may have met on Big Sunday...

Looking forward to hiking at Smuggs soon, hoping we get a nice April storm that will set up for some open turns on the powder surfer, need some bindingless practice. All I need is 6" - 12" of slop, just need to be untracked...

All was well until 6:15 when Donna walked out, and then got worse @ 6:27 when her mouth opened

Seriously, tho... good mix. One of the rare shows w/ Donna present when her mic levels aren't thru the roof & she's not overpowering Jerry's singing with her demonic wailing!

Edit: Big ups to VT-F for posting the Tull. Somehow they fell off my radar at some point. Haven't really listened to them since high school, but threw Aqualung on my phone this AM after watching that vid and have been replaying the album all day.
