You guys are cracking me up with the captions! Thanks for the laughs, I need them as I look outside the windows of my brand new house near my favorite mountain and see a lot of bare spots in our winter wonderland and listen to the rushing sound of our previously frozen brook, which is now as wide as a 2-lane road.

SHESKISTREES....that sucks about your winter wonderland and new house but the view will never get old and only better with time.....Soon those brown ass spots will be covered in white....the glass is half full and ullr is just testing the EC will power.. good luck with your new home..enjoy it.....always forward but never straight

At nuggs now. Pissed I didn't motivate this morning looks like 5-6" of fresh cream cheese was had. Still some untouched slush cream that is skiing fun as hell. Will undoubtedly set up tonight firm. Madonna is socked in but not spinning. Not sure what's going on up there.

Top of the page, and I thought we needed a different look up here. This chick is awesome, her raps are so dirty and NSFW, but here's an interpol cover:

We definitely enjoy it here! How can you not enjoy 23 acres in your own hollow, with a brook running the entire length of the property?! It is heaven and our dream home. I know Ullr is confused because we had to move in before the house was ready, and we prayed for warmish weather until we had HEAT and HOT WATER, but we're ready for snow now! LOL
By the way, if anyone is going up to Jay, you REALLY need to check out the new water park. Totally awesome! I don't know how I didn't have a heart attack as I stood inside the chamber to La Chute and listened to the countdown...3...2...1...SWOOSH!

Holding pattern . . .
Nice stoke Austin is that where I think it is?
Austin, I am officially in a holding pattern. Just got home from a long day of corporate silliness and need a beer. I may need two or three after reading about rain as far north as Smuggs and Mt. Washington. Sorry Strawjack but hard to believe Cannon was spared. Looks like maybe Sugarloaf was spared? Need confirmation from elsewhere besides web site before willing to make that drive. Anyone? Edit - high winds predicted at the Loaf tomorrow. Whatever fell today is going to lock up and not enough new worth going after or taking a chance on - I am out.
F you Ullr. Suck it.
Maybe ice climbing tomorrow? Edit - So far this year, this option looks like the best choice to enjoy winter. Time to sharpen the picks. Ullr you have forsaken us!Last edited by lynchdogger; 01-27-2012 at 04:50 PM.

Holy sore elbow! Banged some nasty rime ice off Big Spruce for about 4 hours today, I've never seen it so thick and sticky. (Make all the comments you want, I'm thinking the same thing.) It does suck when your uniform is crusted over from rime coating it in a 40mph wind.
But seriously, WTF is going on with the weather? We got about 4" of snow last night, some sleet, about 1/2" of glaze ice on Mansfield side (closer to an inch on spruce), then it was raining by the time I left.
Need. Winter. To. Turn. On. NOW.
Maybe we need to have a mid-winter Ullr fest?

I was thinking the same thing... Seeing how it's such an east coast affair, how cool would it be to watch the Superbowl on a twenty five foot screen outdoors by a roaring bonfire after a great day of skiing? (As long as it's not f'n r'n!). We still have an untapped keg... WHICH IS PROBABLY THE REASON ULLR'S NOT HAPPY!!! We need to finish that bad boy!
Only problem would be the renters I have at our place that weekend... oh well.Screw the net, Surf the backcountry!

VTski- still need to meet up, hope enough snow falls on the back end of this.
I wonder what the release values are on that thing, if the subway stops abruptly will her hamstring stay in tact?
i-stoke, had fun skiing cream cheese. Looks like about 5-6" fell. Was soft and hero turns which was surprising.
Definitely a positive gain snow wise, I am sure its consolidating down though
