I dig the Hestra Heli gloves. I tend to have poor circulation in my extremities, and these have treated me well down to -30°f, givertake. Of course, a pair of liner gloves will easily add an extra 10-15° warmth to any gloves. Liners can be worth their weight in gold, esp if you don't wanna shell out for the Hestras. That being said, Hestra makes top notch gloves, which will certainly last you years...

Fun day @Smuggs with MBBB/TC and company...snow quality in the back bowls was first rate. Damn I missed that!!!! Sorry for the paucity of pics, we didn't want to stop.

As much as I would like to, I won't wax rhapsodic here about the skis except to say.... DAYUM!!!

There are demos with me in Midd. and with TC in Cambridge. If you want to try something out and you are around the area, let us know...we want them on your feet!

Hitting up Jay today for the first time, pretty psyched. Bright green bindings, black/purple capita board plaid gray jacket if anyones there and down for a safety meeting.

Couldn't you have picked a colder day for your first visit? High of 7 F, possible wind chill of -30, according to NOAA. This is what we call a "Welcome to Jay Peak!" kind of day. Be sure to take a ride on the Freezer, oops, I mean Flyer. Should be lots 'o folks warming up in the waterpark though...

[QUOTE=BC_ski_BC;3507588]Somehow it was my seventh tour of this season, who would have thought, no complaints, lungs and legs felt great and just in time for a powder day

It was dark and it was snowy...

    WORTH WHILE

those worth skis sure do look yummy, nice job!

i couldn't really imagine skiing in the temps today. i mean it's like 3 degrees on the seacoast right now! some friends wanted me to join in on a george tour today, but way too cold for the limited cover/terrain options right now for me. tomorrow looks much more hospitable.

super fun waves yesterday a.m. at the wall. water still quite pleasant. hopefully more to come, but winter can be super lean and fickle as far as waves go. nice to see winter coming into form in many northerly places. hopefully we can squeeze a bit more snow outta the sky before the next thaw/rain comes in coming weeks. a little rain would turn what base we have into a long lasting glacial mass for late winter/spring storms. glass half full

    stay warm, be safe y'all!

sherby/bowl laps tomorrow vt free? probably a silly idea to think any vt'rs would leave the snow you have there to venture east tho.

i'm actually pretty stoked right now to drink coffee, do dishes and day dream about this past week of ripping bone dry perfect singletrack wednesday, skiing perfect bouncy deep refill pow thursday, morning skin, cream cheese skiing friday, and super fun rip-able 2 hour surf session saturday morning. FKNA.

I had heard she might put up a fight, but surprisingly she was up and ready!

She was struggling a little on the way up, and after she said it was because she needed her worth skis!

Was she on her Sumos? They aren't light with the Dukes....If you see her today, tell her to check her e-mail, I found her some binders for her Worths. Her phone is off.

Marmot Randonee is the warmest yet most dexterous glove I've found. I'll be on my third pair soon.

    Colder than that = mittens.

So glad to hear that the EC is getting some. Really nice to see east coast resorts listed ---> in the top snowfall yesterday.

Not so much east coast stoke, but a little personal stoke that I'd like to add.

Our 3 year old can officially stop, turn & ski unassisted. I put a little video together for the grandparents...

Enjoy! Today he want's to "shred the pow mommy".

Best part is when he's in lessons, mommy gets to ski

It is cold out there! Thankfully I didn't get frostbite.

Went out for a quick tour with a friend this morning. Found some great snow. It's going to be really good after the next storm.

    Short, but sweet.
