not very exciting here this morning as far as making schuss goes. i've been told that i have to go skinning at least, so i guess a walking we will go maybe. looks cold as fuck this weekend, good time to turn tail south. hopefully vt gets a good ole pummeling of snow wrap around style.
legs felt surprisingly good this morning after the first full day of playing gravity pilot in the bouncy pow. who ever said, "never get old" old roolz!
have fun y'all!

1 and the same.
Gotta be honest about the totals. 2 3/4" is not 3" nor 2"
What's that drive? 3 hours?
Nothing new overnight, dripping eves had me worried, but no rain yet. Looking like late day and Sat. opening bell should be good.

JK Nice photo there, about 3/16 of a second too soon to get the full Praxis logo.www.apriliaforum.com

He knows where the good skiing is. Don't be all miffed he passing by the barren bush
Should be a good day to venture out some more. Things are really filling in. Skies are getting dark and spooky, maybe we might get a decent storm.
Grubbers- just pm or call if you are going. We'll meet up one of these days. Might be time soon to head back to our favorite pillow spot.

RAIN, FREEZING RAIN, ZIPPER CRUST, CREAM CHEESE FRIDAY MORNING UPDATE
yup, that's right all of the above. beautiful morning skin up mildcat this am. the higher we went, the warmer it got. ski down was really nice soft cream cheese groomers, softer high, but plenty soft low. my partner skied a bunch of pow over hardly a base with light zipper crust in places and wide smile. i was more than happy to stay where my skis would only touch snow.
gonna be pretty interesting to see how warm/wet the snow gets before total lockup ensues. could be a loud weekend of turns if it gets too warm today.
off to work!

People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

Keeps changing from rain to sleet to hail here at magic. They picked up a legit 4-5" of PERFECT Base building snow.
For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was

Hoping today and tonight's snow fills things in nice. Also hope the massive gaper surge doesn't screw the good lines up. Things might be okay but it's going to be tighter and more brush and rock than normal. We're still way under the usual safe snow pack for real skiing. If you head into the woods be safe and know where you're going. Take care of those pretty new Worth skis too, nobody want core shots day one. Maybe I'll see some of you on the hill in the morning, but I might be running stealth mode to preserve the pow.

Anyone skiing snow bowl tomorrow? Thinking about heading up. Also, I'll be coming up from Lowell, MA so 93>89 if anyone would want to split the drive.
According to Lionel that area will be the jackpot tonight.

People of the Bush, heading up solo in the morning for first chair and would love to not ski solo all all day long. Red Millet jacket / Khaki pants on Bros. Will have skins in case of wind business. Which leads to my first question, is there a base area which has a better chance of avoiding wind holds?
Also, If I stay in the area for the evening, where should I be going to watch the Pats game?
Any info appreciated. :gameon:
