Wish I could be up at Magic this weekend, but have prior engagements I can't get out of. Will be up there in the very near future though. I have a few stashes to get dialed in.

Laser - bigdaddy might be onto something with the ice rink idea. The closest one to you appears to be Frear Park. It might bring in some extra income and get local folks to pull into a golf course in the winter. Obviously set up costs need to be considered but a recreation facility with winter recreation could be a nice draw (b-day parties, friday night dates, etc). There are even firms that will set it up and you rent it for the season so you don't have to do it yourself and they offer synthetic ice so that you don't have huge energy/maintenence costs.

opening a skating rink probably entails getting insurance that sounds like he doesn't have the money for. I highly doubt whatever kind of coverage he has for golf would extend to ice skating.

Dalton, I haven't forgotten, man..looking forward to it...you keep going further and further north..and I keep going further south.... I'm fairly certain we need to be south this winter which is why I mentioned the octagon....T is most lilkey locking in at K-ton as an ambassador again (she loves that, seriously...the girl can talk and is a great help). For now I only see one car being available up there..so ya know..
God no, Aldo...never ran that store. Congratulate yourself on not listening to Scott (ever)....everyone who takes the store over gets burned out on it real quick. It's not easy to unload... it is currently under new ownership now though and they seem energetic.

First of all EW & Sprite...I will be around all winter so beers, dinners and hanging out (and of course skiing) are in order, especially if you're right up Maple Hill.
Living in Belmont kicks butt! It's a great community to be a part of and the elementary school is one of the best in the state from what I hear.
