HAHA Sweet! Think I know where that is.. Who took the pic?

Still enjoying the nice sunny weather here in CA , but I am in need for some powder really bad. The snow scene is a nightmare. Thank God for Mammoth Lakes Wellness, so I don't lose it.

Great pics everyone, keep em coming.

^^^^ Nay, she was on snow shoes, I skinned Lars over there. Surprising how far that knoll goes up there, you cant see from the road because of the roll over, it makes for pretty long run.

Buttah all depends which way your heading down. Katonah, white plains, Brewster you have some options. Even down to Stamford or Greenwich works too. All depends how long you want to sit on the train.

Mother fucker. Sitting at the Flying Goose in NH waiting for my friend to go to Boston pick up his car and restart the journey. My engine that was rebuilt 800 miles ago blew. Still going to make it to MRG tomorrow. Please tell me the skiing will be good.

    This car is cursed. http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/s...as+in+a+diesel

I almost always park in Fairfield due to the size of the parking lot, the caliber of the vehicles surrounding my own, and the food on Rt. 1. Went to school there, and there are some quality joints right near the train station there (mikes pizza, chefs table, rawleys, wilsons)

A little modest video clip here from yesterday. Features my POV and a little bit of talent from Crank, Eug, John and Grom Alex.

Pretty impressed with the day and happy to test the powder legs. As with everyone else, ducking ropes was the best way to go.

anyone have pics or description of MRG toward the end of the day today? IF they avoid major rain and/or pick up another couple of inches overnight, will tomorrow be worth it or is it already completely shot?

Sweet stuff man! You hang with some rippers up there. I don't think my knee can handle that kind of ripping, not yet.

Hey all, my sister got me and my wife a hotel room in Montreal tonight for christmas. unfortunately, we are both recovering from this shitty stomach bug and won't be able to use it and it is non-refundable. So, if anyone wants to fete the new year in Montreal tonight, let me know ASAP so I can call the hotel and change the name on the reservation. The room is paid for (including taxes and stuff, apparently), you will just need to give them a credit card for any incidentals you rack up (mini bar, room damage, you know ;-)

I won't be online much so call or text me at eight oh two nine eight nine one six one eight.

Weather report from NH...nothing but ugliness in Central NH. Rain and fog, temps at Waterville Valley in the high 30s. Time to forget about the disaster that was December (except Thursday) and hope January 2012 is more like January 2011.

I'd go with the 'old' station if I were you. New station is only a couple of miles from the Bridgeport border. Parking is free on weekends, so you're cool there. The new station doesn't have much of a track record as it's only been open a month, but it wouldn't be my preferred spot to leave a car.

If it's worth going out of your way when headed south, I'm on Londonderry & have a december train pass in my wallet (which should be good thru Tuesday AM's commute, so even though tomorrow is Jan it'll still be good).
