Thread: East Coast Roll Call V---> SO MUCH better then all the other roll calls

Rain softened things up nicely today. But then I got all wet... DaFuck?!
Tele turns were interesting. Went well on the nice flat trails. Once I got into the bumps on the BLACK DIAMONDS , falling became pretty common. Oh well, I'd say I did pretty well for my 4th, 5th, and 6th ever tele runs. Back to alpine to rip some GS turns in the soft snow on some uber low angle stuff. I had fun, called it quits after 5 runs and headed back to school to study for finals.

It's also a great picture that I had to look around to find, and it bums me out that my friends basically chased away this dude. GP was surely affected at times with a severe case of foot in mouth disease, but he was also a big part of this thread and shared the same love of east coast skiing everyone else here does. Even worse, I think that posters like me that didn't say anything publicly about the bullying earlier might have even given some sort of implied permission and that kind of sucks.

But, it's way too quiet around here. Not only are we not skiing, but we aren't even arguing with each other and stirring the pot. So, I welcome any "Fuck you, Petrics lover" pm's and posts I might get because of this.

FIS stoke was a nice part of this thread. I'm working on a deal to bring back Petrics, but all I have is a keychain from Ullrfest. Hopefully we will see them again, maybe once the snow finally flies.

I miss the FIS stoke also. Petrics seemed to have a little too much ego in some of his posts, but it's really hard to interpret tone on the interwebs. And he posted more stoke than most, so he gets more leeway in my mind.

Well, it snowed when I headed south for thanksgiving. And I'm south again for the holidaze. Fucking 53° outside here and for the first day of winter (the solstice this year is today), it's complete and utter bullshit!

Real easy when you see and experience it in person though! I think that the problem was that the bullshit that is said here is not anyone's true personality but unfortunately, some are closer than maybe they out to be? I certainly don't miss the unsolicited pm's telling me what I can and cannot do and whether I am doing it right according to the world of gp - especially since I started doing this when he was in diapers! Not better or worse just doing it because I love it! Get it? That is why we all are here. I gotta agree with DoWork on this one. Full blown tear fest in-sued! Was everything not to laugh - she is so damn cute! Made me proud. She is a skier! patience, patience, patience. It will come.
