Thread: Who cares? Obama is fuct regardless...

No really - can somebody suggest a scenario where Obama actually has a chance of getting re-elected? I see a lot of posts by terrified librodouches that talk about how crazy/dumb Perry/Bachman/Republicans are, but who cares when Obama is completely fuct regardless of how whacky whoever runs against him is? I just saw a poll where 82%of likely voters would choose a loaf of bread over Obama. He sucks and it's only going to get worse. If I were you guys I'd be much less concerned with Perry's charactor flaws and a lot more concerned with getting Hilary to run against him in the primaries.

Y'all talkin' 'bout re-election? Y'all experts? Well... I'd like to hear about it, potheads.

An improving economy is all it will take. Whether that will happen is doubtful.

Hopefully people in the middle will wise up if Perry gets the nod, but with this bad of an economy he could still win.

FWIW - I actually have come up with such a scenario, but I wanna see what the smart guys here think first.

Because the voters on the fence who ultimately decide elections in this country don't like the stupid whack job shit. Bush at least tried to make logical sense.

^ This. The whole key is who the Republican candidate is in the general election. Right now, the nutjobs are getting most of the press. If one of them gets the nod for the general, there's no way in hell Obama losses.

Case in point: Nevada. The state is full of nutty people. They're so nutty, many of them actually voted for Sharon Angle as a hatred vote against Harry Reid. Reid is so hated in the state, the Republicans could have thrown a dead tree stump in the general election and beaten him. Instead they picked a fucking whack job. Moderates and independents won't put a whack job in office, even in a state like Nevada. It's that simple.

So it all depends... If someone like Bachmann gets the nod, it's 4 more years for sure.

Obama is a one termer. Period. Irregardless.

The only question is if the Repubs have the balls to nominate a worthy replacement. My guess is they'll pick another Bush (Perry or Romney).

If there is a God, a REAL Conservative will get in the race.

I find it interesting that a lot of you don't think Obama is a nutjob. Just sayin.

Maybe someone can go back and grab Jer's threads from 2008 about Obama's chances--and his promises about what he'd do if Obama was elected, before we take his ranting seriously.

At the moment, Obama beats any Republican candidate in all polls. The only one he loses is to a 'generic' Republican--so, yeah, if you let people imagine that there's some competent, non-crazy Republican, Obama comes up short right now, but with a real world choice Obama still wins. If we can get Palin, Bachmann, or Perry nominated it will be automatic.

He's become...jerrelevant.
