Pretty cool improvised, home-built motorized bicycle
I saw this thing buzzing around the other day, then I saw it parked in front of a store...so I HAD to get some pix. When I was snapping the pix, the owner came out...a migrant worker from down in Margaritaville...talked with him for a bit.
Turned out he was a mechanic in his former country and had basically improvised the whole set-up using various parts and what little came with the motor kit. He said it was his "bebe".
I think it turned out to be a graceful, well-thought little bit of engineering and jury-rigging...a spot on job.
Is this the kind of fellow we want to kick back across the border over a technicality...I think some small shop could put him to work designing stuff.
I've seen bike kits before, but never one so well conceived....and unlike those others, this one is QUIET and does up to 45 mph....so I don't know what abolitions he perfomed on the engine.
