Yeah, Buffet is left wing. I guess it's his socialist tendencies that lead to the accumulation of tens of billions of dollars.

People who seek after money tend to become corrupted by it, and this is as true of those espousing liberal policy as those espousing conservative policy. Duh.
People and institutions seeking wealth will always seek ways to keep it. Duh.Last edited by Rasputin; 08-31-2011 at 01:28 PM.

It's the left wing companies making money. The right wing companies complain about the government impeding their business. Ironic isn't it? Right wing wanting the government to bail them out when left wing is doing just fine with the current structure.
Netflix, Facebook, Amazon, Starbucks all doing well.
It's the shit banks and offshoring industrial companies complaining.

Let's not forget Patagonia, a company that has gone way been what is required by regulations to produce more environmental friendly processes. They are not perfect, but the company has made a very dramatic effort.

ITT: Hugh, 4matic and Hutash extol the virtues of a free market, capitalist system that allows people to vote with their dollars
you guys should really inform your comrades about this, that corporations are rewarded for responsible actions in a capitalist society

You and your comrades have made the argument over and over that corporations will not make responsible decisions unless the govt forces them to, that somehow it is even possible to put "profits over people" and that they somehow choose to do this, etc
in this thread you are singing a different tune, claiming that people vote with their dollars and THAT guides corporations into responsible decisions
can you show me where you got the idea that im a christian?
