Porters is selling the $35 tickets and they open at 10am. I would purchase the day before if you want to get an early start.

Used the Porters Tickets last week.Make sure to have cash or check.No credit cards accepted.Ask the cashier for them.They had no advertising in the Tahoe city store for them.

Dork, you can also just find a passholder in the parking lot and ask them to help you get a half price ticket (a few bucks cheaper than the other resort passholder offer).

Anyone want to head up to shasta friday/saturday? Looks like this next system is going to be focused up there. With around a ft to 2 falling above 8k. Friday looks cold and maybe a little windy but seems like might be the last chance to get after shastafari in pow conditions. Thinking about leaving tahoe after a little riding on thursday if things develop down here and sleeping in the lot and getting an early start. Might pospone til saturday if wind is bad/we actually get snow down here.

permanently. we went to truckee and got em there though. Thanks anyway and maybe we'll be back when she gets back from her vacation.

Is my meter broken? Because if you seriously think that somewhere is going to be good on Friday I'd like to know. I'm worried that the new snow won't freeze the old snow that's now 2 feet of wet mank - just keep it insulated. Sounds like horrible skinning conditions and total glop once the death star hits it for 2 seconds.

But maybe my hypothesis is wrong - I'd certainly love it to be.

reality is that BG will probably be skiing and Schralph will probably be in an office - anywhere you go skiing will be better than wherever someone else doesn't

Donner Ski Ranch anyone? I doubt I could get Friday off anyway after trying to compress a normal season's worth of skiing into 6 weeks. I'm not very popular at work right now

dang. I guess last week was their last shot for weekdays. My twin 3yo boys totally slayed the magic carpet there last Thur/Fri and got their first chairlift rides. I'd never been there before that place is pretty cool in a mom n' pop kinda way. Does that huge cliff on the frontside ever get hucked I wonder?
