Anyone up for Tahoe area BC this week? Echo Lake boat taxi is open for access to the backside of Ralston, and I have some beta on where we could ski from the car at Ebbets, at least my buddies could last week. PM me.

Biked up to star lake from stage coach today, the snow in motts, jobs sister and freel looked super smooth and there is plenty of coverage still in Desolation, Would be a good time to get out there.

Is nobody else gonna say Happy Birthday Dookey?

Actually, we scored smooth blower at VA lakes at the 2010 Mammoth Mini, which was the week before Memorial Day. But, we followed that by scoring powder at Leavitt Peak for Memorial Day Weekend.

Then last year over Memorial Day weekend, dynosaur and I scored 10-16" of powder at VA lakes followed by powder in Dana Couloir the next day (no TR).

This Memorial Day Weekend, powdork, dooks, LongShortLong, myself, and others scored powder storm skiing on Saturday in Lassen Park, untracked (heavy) pow on Lassen Peak on Sunday (with no visibility), and then hero corn (and overripe glop) today.

I'm on a friggin roll with Memorial Day weekends!

Awesome times everyone, and happy birthday Dooks! We rocked a summit beer on Ski Heil Peak for Dookey's birthday today.

3. In terms of Tahoe weather, on the way to Lassen on Friday 5/25 to connect with Dork, Schralph, LSL, Hutch, Natcho, and Nickie, it was snowing on Hwy 89 as low as 5400 feet.
4. Gotta love Cali, too, as Lassen was socked in Fri/Sat/Sun with all forms of snow (hail, snail, snain, row, grauple, pow), yet just less than an hour away in Red Bluff fools were rockin' shorts and t-shirts in high humidity.
