Weekend warrior at SquAlpine with a handful of BC and Boreal days. I have never been to Rose, and would probably check it out for a day.

Coon - you won't have any trouble finding mags to ski with at Squapine.

In any case, if you're ever really in this situation make sure you at least bargain in a couple of fluffers.

I'll be dividing my time between Squalpine / Gnarstar / Heavenly... so I'll be around on a lot of Thursdays, Fridays and weekends. Tuesdays only if it's a powder day.

Hey!!
Looking forward to another great season!
I went to a NOAA weather/storm presentation aimed at SAR folks yesterday and for what it is worth (not much I guess) - here is the "storm experts" personal opinion on that the weather will be like this season: "Mild la nina - very average snowfall amounts throughout the entire season with above average snowfall in Feb" No idea how he came to these conclusions - but def gets me crossing my fingers for Feb.
This season I have passes to Kirkwood, Alpine & Squaw - so that is where you can find me, plan to be up 3/4 weekends. Hope for a huge back country season also.
Hope to see you guys at One For the Road in SF!

Will be at SquAlpine most of the time except days I am not in Tahoe which is probably 1/4 of winter days. Night skiing at Squaw definitely.

Hey, that Bourdain guy is having a "gig" at Oakland's Paramount Theatre on the 21st.
I guess he must be a "big dealio" if he can pull off a book-signing at a place like that!
(not eating meat, or watching cable, means we're out of that loop)
Dude, you're prolly out of luck. Hardly anyone here wants to ski...
Where did you get that idea? We're all about what color pants you'll be wearing...
Light blue.
