Actually yes...yes they did. You know tommorrow will be a powder day, and there will be no frozen surface underneath because it's going to be pow ontop of warm mashed but you won't feel the mash because it's warm and will make for a nice new base to cover it up and it will keep getting cooler overnight and everything is going to be perfect...perfect perfect new shredable resort pow? That's what i'm hoping anyway...

Yea....enough snow and it will be fine.
I am debating hitting the morning even though I just got back from sitting on a beach for the last two weeks.

That'll be easily reformulated and recombined into 25cm by morning on the report.

On the upside, it will mean no crowds (it better ). There's more like 5.5 cm in the last 24 hrs, with 3.5 in the last hour it was reported. I've got my hopes up.

Well, it seems that a week of sitting on my ass has made my knee feel even worse than it did on my first run this season.. wtf. Maybe it's the inactivity. Or maybe it was my big tomahawk last friday. Or maybe the glucosamine stopped acting. Or maybe that weird feeling when my knee stuck into that cat track was a ligament going. Or, Or, Or.

Hoping the tesnor bandage can bring it back into shape for tomorrow, otherwise, I've had a hell of a season.

There's some more snow on the cards for the Lake tonight, and cooler temps, so it should be good tomorrow. I've heard reports of it (and SSV) being heavy/sticky mush over the last couple of days.

Bring on the slush, sunshine and patio beers I say!

Some fuckwit took the precip and converted it all to snowfall so their 30cm was b.s. It was 15 max. Was ok...got 1st tracks in 7 again when it cracked which was nice. A bunch of avy debris and plenty of stuff moving in there, but lot of room in between. Lift openings were all over the place and delayed all morning....good thing it wasn't busy. I think it's time for some smooth consistent b.c. instead of skied out refrozen chunder..unless it pukes enough to cover the garbage.

Is it too much to ask for Lake Louise to update their website, twitter and/or facebook when there is lift opening delays? Doesn't seem like it would be all that tough to type "summit, paradise and TOW delayed one hour. Sorry" and hit send.

On another note heavy snowfall warning again.

So I shouldn't feel like I missed much after I had to leave? I've been cursing work ever since. The 2 hours of standing in line to 1 hour of skiing wasn't the best ratio...

7 was the best skiing and no one was waiting for it when it cracked but yeah i'd say overall you didn't miss a hell of a lot. It was good enough for a second, but not 3rd lap.
