Self Extending Mono Pod...does this exist?

Was thinking to myself the other day that it would be sweet to have a mono pod that with the pull of a trigger the leg would extend to touch the ground without having to flip a bunch of levers.
Does something like this exist? Looking for a mono pod for ski photography that is fast, light, and durable.
    Thanks for your help.

I use a Manfrotto 334B...I love it for what I do, but wouldn't really consider it an ideal candidate for ski photography.

Hopefully you can figure out how to take advantage of the pole you have with you.
Maybe you can add 1/4" 20 insert to the pole grip.

You could also use a gorillapod

An ultapod might grab onto a ski pole also

Yeah, I snowboard, so i wouldn't be rocking the pole option.

I looked at the Manfrotto 334B, that might work for what I'm looking to use it for. Thanks for the input.
