3' of hero snow after a few days of upper mountain being closed is the best thing I have ever experienced on skis at a resort. Pow skiing out of a heli... that's mind blowing.

There was about 6-8" of new chop slop on the groom and this guy pulls up and says "I hate powder!" Why is that? It is too soft. He's on like 160cm SL skis. Then he heads down the hill leaving 4-6" ruts in his turns. Whatever.

I've had Europeans here in Banff, on a fresh powder day, ask me, "when are they going to scrape all of the new snow off the mountain?" My face went red hot, that's all I can say.

The weekend was a riot. Not much whining since no one was basically up there.

The Dogs whistle brigade was stylin' it though, and one young thing had a lot of takers asking if she needed any sun block applications.
