what should I do and where should I go?

I just finished (well I will today) my long-term series I have been working on. I have at least the next 2 weeks off and am tired of being cooped up in my place. Where should I go and what should I do? I've got plenty of money (within reason) and would just like to get away from my office. I need some sun, that is for sure. I want to bolt within the next week.

caveat... no car, no license, no passport at the moment. So wherever I go has to has to be pedestrian of public transportation convenient.
I think you have me confused with someone who is far less awesome.

    ^^ this...

Sounds like you need some beach action. Just got back from vaca in Northwest FL myself and very nice. Since your sans car it might limit things a bit but I would head south to Florida and do some fishing and drinking on the beach. Keys or Miami for hoofing it...

The one and only reason I asked. If I had a car and license I would do what I wanted but due to mitigating circumstances I can't.

PR. Pretty sure you still don't need a passport, and JetBlue goes direct to both San Juan and Ponce, last I checked anyways.
I'm taking myself to a dirty part of town, where all my troubles can't be found...

Hawaii, specifically Oahu since you won't need to worry about filling up a gas tank(gas is obscene there now). They have a good bus system, decent nightlife, and recreation. Not sure if you could catch a bus to the North Shore, probably where you would want to stay. I would recommend Maui or Big Island more but don't think their bus systems are as good(Can't recall seeing a lot of buses on the roads there.).

If you were to go, which would you recommend? Seriously considering this. JB flights are stupid cheap and they do fly into both airports. Just checked on the passport thing and you are correct... didn't think that was the case!
