Has Anyone used a compex machine for rehab?
I broke my achilles tendon and have six weeks non weight bearing plus another six increasing the weight but still in a walking ankle brace.
I have a compex that I bought a few years ago, which I used a few timbres. When I used it on my quads, I remember being sore the next day. Which I took it to mean that I was stressing my muscle, which hopefully means that the muscle is growing.
but my PT guy says that the compex doesn't grow muscle.
Anyone used one of these?
they work by electrically stimulating the muscle to contract.
