Ha- we don't play that way. We use a drop net to get them up to the pier, and we drop them in head first. It is all very civil.

Oh, not to be a douche, as you're 1000 times the angler I'll ever be (and for the next 5 days I'm killing everything I see), but I read recently that holding large fish, especially snook, vertically is bad for them. Not sure if you're doing that when you release them (killjoy thread-hijacking link)
