Excited to see more pics and some video if it exists. I missed this trip by about 2 weeks. Hope to be there next year...

Good times were had by all, at least by this guy. Here are some photos:

Campsite with a view. Also illustrates the difference good light makes (vs all other photos from Saturday)

Lindahl and rideit (but correct me if I'm wrong) at Burro Pass. There are only two kinds of guys who wear hawaiian shirts...

Tappan, brother of Nate aka Spaceman Spiff, who rides an 8-year-old mountain bike 3 times a year but still goes bigger than most -- what a bastard -- with beaterdit exuding the spirit of the ride

Non-mags Jason and Lana pondering the radness ahead

    Tappan not gapping the creek

Stopping to ponder the boring scenery

More of the same. Fall sucks

Spaceman Spiff. Not showing off, he just rides that way to save tires and be prepared for the next uphill

After Burro Pass, before Hazzard County. We came from somewhere over there.

Spaceman Spiff and little bro Tappan. Bike Monkey Brothers. Exiting fall wonderland, entering Mars

Yours truly pondering the meaning of life, and of 12 more miles of single speed Porcupine Rim sickness (I snapped my rear derailleur cable partway down Hazzard County, probably trying to find the granny gear to my granny gear)

The weather was perfect for biking, not perfect for amateur photography. Weather rolling in in the mountains, right as we entered desert climate. Ominous edit

Then we rode Porcupine Rim, hucked a bunch of stuff, went fast, took chances, drank a bunch of beer, ate a lot of delicious food, scenes missing, etc etc.

Sunday morning I needed some grease and coffee

Later on that day, my homie Spaceman Spiff (Nate), his fambly (little bro Tappan and Jenn), and I came through with a gang of Tanqueray and hit up 18 Rd on the way home

    The end.

Props to beaterdit and other organizers. Logistics, company, really everything was A+. We will definitely be back next year.

I hate being in Moab and not being able to go to Fruita. Road 18 is the truth, and one of the reasons I ride bikes

    Sweet old truck beside Kokopelli

    Dickeymotto and Lindahl goofin

    jongcrist gett'n silly

Dayglowalker dropping a slightly less silly line

    Sam minding his poppers

I'll be there in a couple weeks and will have pictures of my own to share.

Besides, Crested Butte did NOT suck this weekend.

It wouldn't be an Enchilada trip without Khakis passing out somewhere.

Looks like a great trip, and you timed the fall colors just right! Hopefully I can swing it next year.

    Who won the Enchilada Cookoff??

there were some dam good enchiladas, but I think the poppers or rellenos stole the show

as for the trophy...I don't think any particular event of supreme jackassery stands out? Maybe pole-ish horseshoes? But that was pretty early/mellow. We should ask "zee germans" who won the trophy

Well, the dog ball hair couch lives on. Ranger-worthy jack-assery avoided...but the Viking burial would have been epic!

I was the guy that blew your fucking doors off with a trashed chain guide that barely spun. Got it figured out, though, were you with that group of 30?

I got it! The shuttle driver earned the trophy when he called the other shuttle driver a pole smoker, then tried to sell us all gopros and his shuttle business!

Shuttle driver definitely won the most belligerent award... and it was AWESOME.

I thought the roadrunner drivers were the sketchy poaching tweakers, and the coyote guys were the flaming potheads...

Me at the top of Burro Pass... diggin my garage sale helmet (just started biking in mid-August and waiting for Giro to release the Feature). Spaceman Spiff in the background.

Sweet aspen grove stroll before the descent to Hazard parking.

Khakis after the super fun Hazard section.
