    Topo Maps for iPad

    Killer app. For simple topo reference this is perfect. $7 app gets you all the USGS in lower 48 and i'm pretty sure ak and canadia too. seamless map stitching. great pan and zoom. just downloaded most of the east sierra and am hitting the road.

    A version is also available for iPhone. I haven't loaded it yet, but the website makes it look pretty good as well.

    I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...    iscariot

    It requires a data signal to get the map, but ESRI has a pretty good app for free, just use their Topographic base map.
