Freeride Mount Question (not relating to shims)
getting ready to mount some Freerides and have a question about the heel elevator piece location. There are two tabs that stick up next to the rearward most binding screw hole. My question is: should the end piece of the center rail be flush with those tabs or does there need to be a certain gap there? Seems to me they would wear better if there were a small gap, then again the tabs must serve some purpose because they are there. The paper template forces a gap but the thing is crumpled out of the box and barely useable. Any experiences/opinions?
Thanks.

Get a new template faxed to you. Use that. Don't worry about gaps and taps and such.
