Minions in print
I read the article this morning and it mentioned a few familiar names. You need to sign up to read the whole thing. Here is an excerpt from todays Boulder Daily Camera:
Kauder: You never know who you're gonna meet
They seemed like nice enough people. Mir (a.k.a. She-Ra) wanted to set up a car shuttle so we could hike uphill from the Berthoud Pass parking lot and ski down almost all the way to Winter Park.

Does the author even ski?
Check out this quote from an article about Alta published April 9, 2004:
This philosophy extends to the flow of skiers on the mountain. You won't find any high-speed, six-seat lifts here. Marshall says that in order to preserve good snow quality and keep crowding to a minimum, they want to control the number of people on the snow at any given time. Slower lift rides do the trick, even if it means suffering the occasional lift line.
...
Alta is not impervious to change. While you can't ride a high-speed lift, you can get a high-speed wireless Internet connection in the lobby of the Alta Lodge.
I guess she forgot about the Sunnyside chair. And the Sugarloaf chair. And the new Collins chair.
