RIP Ryan. Thanks for showing me around UVM freshman year. You were one rippin' skier, and a super guy.

For anyone that didn't get the chance to meet Ryan, he was this type of a person.... One of a kind

I was at Kirkwood that tragic day, skiing with my buds. We joined up for a final beer at the base and watched the trophy presentation. Everyone seemed jovial and festive. When I got back to my hotel room I checked out the FWT web site, I was shocked to see Ryan on the main page with 1985-2011. My heart sank. Never met Ryan, but we are all brothers on the snow and I offer condolences to his family and friends.

He and Arne had a simlar style. So damn smooth it was like they were skiing on a cloud even on the hardpack. RIP Ryan, thanks for reminding us how to live.
