Weekend politically incorrect report; L4V. Baz was out in full force on the Saturday…sadly, the soft snow led to nonstop chatter about the ‘almost’ dream trip he was due to make to “kings and corn” had it not been for a torn meniscus on a 1/8 Iron Man training session for a charity he was doing to prevent human trafficking. In other news, Luigi and Mario finally made it to town and they were last seen chasing the last bus ‘vomit comet’ out of Verbier to Le Chable at 130. Jose and the Catalan crew were spotted around Dahu occupying more tables than settlers in the West Bank. Yuri made an all too brief appearance on hill and was likely traveling under a third passport to pick up some extra cash in the safe and drop off the child support check. Finally, in honor of Super Bowl Sunday, Randy from Mobile, Alabama was spotted skiing around in a Stars and Stripes flag as he was tearing up La Chaux. Randy wanted to wear the stars and bars but didn’t think that any of these Europeans would know who Nathan Bedford Forest truly was and how he was simply misunderstood. Enjoy the week and this forecast, which does not look great (at the moment.)

    Today was good fun.

Started flat lightish despite the sun.
But then we had quite acceptable runs.

    Viva Engadina!

Last run after some lunch was better than expected.

Possibly a big System moving in next weekend ( not this ....on the 23rd?.). Would snow fir a few days. Westerly or northwesterly flow. But 10days is really far out to say anything specific. But it's a large scale development that all Models have to some extent.

    Some model agreement.

It does not look horrible after the coming weekend. 18th.

Ensembles a favorable too. More for the valais than disentis, but the System would, if it comes, give everyone something.

Graphs Show precip (down low) and temps at roughly 1500m in the free atmosphere. Mountain temps may vary, but it indicates snow levels
Red line is seasonal temp average.
    White is Model run average.

how you taking the long range photos, with a drone? they look cool, how much time you spend prepping for the shot? I cant be bothered to get my phone out my back pack as it involves gloves off, zips, cold fingers.
