If it's on the skitour map, then people do it. I'd try to take a taxi as far as possible up that valley though.

Anyone in the Zermatt area next week?
I'll be there with wife, kids, grandpa/ -ma and injured brother and gf. Alas no one to ski with away from the pistes... Someone to hook up with for a day (or two) would be awesome! Powder, touring you name it, I'm in...White room,

Question for all you euros.
Recently after moving to Lausanne to do my PhD, I shipped my car over to europe. I sent it equipped with snowtires, but because they were studded, I was forced to by new unstudded snowtires.
Anyways, I have them lying in my cellar, and was hopping to sell them to someone in France or Italy, but I don't know if there is a rule against studded snowtires there as well.
So, are studded snowtires allowed in France or Italy?
Also, is anyone here at all interested in buying them?

^^afaik studded tires are allowed in F, It and austria in the winter months. in austria the spikes have to be of a certain type and you need a sticker on your car saying you have them.
Ich bitte dich nur, weck mich nicht.

Well at least you would still had the long flat pole along the lac, an icy dam, and badly formed moguls in the trees as reward
SSB is in trouble ?
whats the story ? Had some really good times there.
Hopefully it can be saved - its like a fun size la Grave (but with monks and big dogs!).
